There is a difference between the perceptions wives have and husbands have when returning from deployment. Most guys can just pick up where we left off like nothing happened, but most women need time to get reacquainted. My wife and I don't have any children so it's almost harder for us. She is so independant when I'm deployed that she almost becomes a single person again. When I come back, we have to "date" before anything happens. The usually give a chaplains briefing before redeployment that covers this telling the guys not to expect to jump in bed with your wife as soon as you walk through the door. I usually take my wife out for dinner so we can hold hands and then we walk around the shops in the city so we can be arm in arm and get close then when we do get home we take things slowly with alot of touching and kissing and quite a bit of foreplay. I'd waited that long already, there's no need to rush during the last hour...and she appreciates the tender attention instead of a wham bam thank you ma'am...may I have another ma'am.
Don't worry if you feel awkward. It's normal.

Its hard! Your having a long distance Relationship and you have to work on that! (you dont hear from your spouse alot tho) And he can never really tell you what he is doin!
When he gets back he might be weird, cause he has to get used to the life here again! I heard alot of woman who had husband who had problems to sleep, were looking for there M-16 in the middle of the night! Its really not nice!

It's like having one of those 6 hour erections they warn you about on the Viagra commercials.

They look better than you remember usually - this is only after two months though, not two years.
