Ya ever wonder what athiests do for a living? Think how much money they could make and how much good they could do if they just funnelled all that senseless energy into doing something constructive!!!!! Do they not work, or have other interests? Seems that many of them live only to try and agitate and irritate we believers by making such stellar and complicated statements such as "cuz He doesnt exist", over and over and over. Sigh....dont they just make ya tired????
LOL...this is a tongue in cheek question. Pray for the poor souls. They are caught in satans plan of evil and dont even know it.

OOOps....I did spell it wrong...sorry bout that.
I note that no one really answered the question.
You would think if they really DIDN'T believe in God , they wouldn't spend so much of their time in the religion and spirituality section.
Note how most atheists are angry, mean people? Ever wonder why?

Why so angry, atheists? Goodness me...and then they rail at us for not being LOVING...as if loving has to do with running around agreeing with THEM that God doesnt exist!
What is wrong with this picture???? LOL

I know how you feel. They think that it takes a fool to believe in something they cannot see, but the evidence that there is a God is all around.
I had a chemistry teacher do a simple exercise to show this point. He took a handful of wooden blocks and threw them on the table. He then took each block and purposefully stacked them. The point was it took purpose and intelligence to build the stack of blocks whereas the tendency of the universe is towards randomness and chaos.
The fool says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.
Enjoy!

"Ya ever wonder what athiests do for a living?"
- There are millions of atheists. We don't all have the same job.
"Think how much money they could make and how much good they could do if they just funnelled all that senseless energy into doing something constructive!!!!! "
- I'm a musician. Very few things more constructive than that.
So, what evidence do you have for atheists being "caught in Satan's plan of evil"? Claims must be backed up with evidence.

Similarly, I am amazed at how much time christians spend it trying to convince others that there is a god.
I wonder what christians do for a living. I often think how much money they could make and how much good they could do if they just funnelled all that senseless energy into doing something constructive.
Do they not work, or have other interests? Seems that many of them live only to try and agitate and irritate atheists by making such stellar and complicated statements such as "god must have done it" or "He does exist", over and over and over. Yes, they make me tired.
LOL...this is a tongue in cheek answer. Try to have patience for the poor deluded christians. They are caught in their own trap and dont even know it.

Regardless of the religion. If It was something that I didn't support/believe In I wouldn't waste my spiritual energy or time on It. Why would I go to a place where there are people that didn't share the same Interests as me,especially If It was something I had absolutely no desire to learn about. I would avoid It like the plague. I certainly wouldn't spend my time & efforts reading answers that didn't support my views. As for me I serve God,The Holy Spirit & The Whole Bible.
I am called to plant the seeds of the Gospel.
The rest Is up to God. He draws men unto Himself. Therefore proving In our human strength we as people don't have the ability to convert anyone. That job belongs to the Holy Spirit.

You are soapboxing. This is why people attack you. Not because they are atheists. I am not an atheist and I have been around many super religious people. To tell you the truth...they irritate the hell out of me ( no pun intended). This higher than you attitude, or (how do you think people came up with this one) holier than tho, attitude is shameful. I have had my faith tested. I believe what I believe because I wouldn't be alive if there was a lack of God. My prayers were answered when I needed them the most, but I don't go around instigating fights with those who don't share my sentiment. You should take a few more lessons from your book.

I'm a straight A student. I tackle this forum between finishing assignments.
If you'd like to provide some evidence for your god, I'd love to hear it, but claiming that we are run by your version is Satan is merely delusional. There are good people of every persuasion, and they decide to be good. They are not controlled by supernatural forces that are somehow outside of human understanding, as you claim.
I'll provide some of my own evidence why I don't believe god exists, at least not in the religious sense-- a god that makes egotistic rules about wearing clothing of different fibers or stoning to death people who work on Sunday (Old testament). Here you go:

This is a model of 20 million galaxies. A galaxy contains hundreds of billions of stars, many like our own. Earth is not even a speck of dust on this scale. Any religion that tries to make the universe conform to it by denigrating science, or posits that human beings are the center of cosmic events is, well -- incorrect.
If you are sincerely open to discussion, perhaps you can will take a look, but I doubt it.

It's pretty long winded for a "tongue in cheek" question. I could ask, in all seriousness, why Christians quote scripture to atheists in order to try and prove that God exists. I could ask why Christians assume that because an atheist doesn't believe in god or a divine Jesus, that something traumatic must have happened in their lives. You're accusing atheists, in a veiled way, of being closed minded while demonstrating no willingness on your part to be open minded when it comes to atheists.

I'm sorry that you feel this way- but i would have to also point out the many Christians that make it their priority to try and change who the rest of the population is. Just as atheists should not push their thoughts, you should not push yours. for instance, i am Buddhist and i believe everyone has a right to go the direction that makes them feel the most comfortable, but a man decided to accost me at 3 in the morning outside of a gas station about how i need to be saved. just because your opinion differs doesn't make it the only point of view that could be correct
my advice is to take your own, and try to funnel your frustration into something constructive.

Do any of you know how to use spell check? It's "atheist", not "athiest", OK? I know the I before E except after C rule confuses you, but this is getting ridiculous.
Anyway, how do you know I don't spend my time doing constructive things? I only go on R&S when I have nothing better to do. "Think how much money they could make and how much good they could do if they just funnelled all that senseless energy into doing something constructive!!!!! " could apply to you as well. Don't you have anything better to do?

I can only speak for myself being an atheist, but I just like to get people thinking about their faith. I've spent a lot of time "trying" to believe in God, it's not that I don't like theists or I wish to harm them, I just can't understand them. I don't understand what it is about the Bible that can persuade you to believe all of that crap. I have read the entire Bible, I have gone to church many times, I was even part of a church group at one time. I just couldn't do it it's too much of a brainwashing cult mentality, and I can't be so close minded. I know for a fact that most theists believe in a God not because they want to but because it was how they were raised and they know no different. So next time you decide to rant and rave about why atheists do what they do, think about yourself and why it is you believe in what you believe in.

"Im amazed at how much time the athiests spend it trying to convince we who KNOW better , that there is no God."
No more pathetic than the time YOU waste trying to convince us of the opposite.
"Do they not work, or have other interests?"
Successful artist here who rides bikes, watches classic silent movies, and scuba dives among other things.
"Seems that many of them live only to try and agitate and irritate we believers by making such stellar and complicated statements such as "cuz He doesnt exist"
Hey, if you'd like to have a detailed argument over, say, Anselm's Ontological Argument or Monism vs. Dualism, I'm all for it.
"They are caught in satans plan of evil and dont even know it."
You are caught in Organized Religion's plan of mind control and stubbornly refuse to see it.
