The Bushites insists that if America was not in Iraq the terrorists would be coming here ( if the Department of Homeland Security were dumb enough to give them visas).....

But with all our troops fighting abroad, what about enemies much closer to home?

CANADA: The Canadian Mounties have been making aggressive patrols on the northern border lately: Who would stop them from heading "due south" and laying waste to Chicago , for example? We all know that the Canadians, like the Martians towards Earth, envy America.

MEXICO: All the talk in Mexico City is of "Reconquista" and "We will succeed even if Santa Ana failed". What's to stop the Mexicans crossing the Rio Grande and taking back their lost lands? And wouldn't the Hispanic community act as a fifth column aiding and abetting the invasion?

CUBA: What's to stop Castro from launching a biological attack on Little Havana and its dissidents?

So yuo see, America is terribly exposed. BRING THE TROOPS HOME! Defend the Mainland

I think there are enough troops still in the US to defend america plus the american people are not going to sit around and let us get invaded. another thing is most hispanics would fight next to america not let america get messed up this is where we live and we love it here. We are not going to let the country that we are fighting to stay in go to waste so we have to go back to some piece of crap country.

I think the real question is, is the rest of the world sufficiently protected from Americans?

(by the way while I freely admit that there are some very good things about the US, in general us Canadians DO NOT envy you Americans - I don't see a flood of Canadian immigrants heading south - I turned down a lucrative job offer 'due south' because I would rather live here with less money - money isn't everything - its not even close to the most important thing in my life)

What are the troops going to do here when troops are home they can not protect borders or anything. Its not like before the war they were standing on the street corners. Its called posse comitatus and it is against the law in the USA.

Troops have no authority on US soil unless martial law is declared or if we are attacked by a traditional foreign military. It is very unlikely that either of these will take place. US troops are doing the most good by killing terrorists over there so they don't ever make it to the US.

Hi I am a Canadian and I take great offense to the American patriotism with all of your flag waving ignorance. We do not envy Americans trust me...run a poll Canadian people laugh at Americans all the time we feel you guys are ignorant and really clueless when it comes down to what you really think you know. "you can't change what people think they see" To sit there and say we could be the next enemy is totally ridiculous hello WE ARE NOT YOU.

Are you joking.? united states of america already supplies billions of dollars a 300 and sixty 5 days in help and palms, funds which on the 2d it may unwell handle to pay for. in my opinion it would provide up giving Israel from now on help and enable it combat its very own battles which I ought to declare they have been very stable at interior the previous. fantastically while they are battling an "enemy" devoid of weapons in any respect. Israel ought to, in the event that they needed, make peace the next day by way of ability of going back to the borders that they have been so generously given in 1947 by ability of the UN. that's all the Palestinians prefer . To stay peacefully of their very very own land.

Ok, you got me. I can't figure out if you are being simply ironic and sarcastic in a pro-bush way; or if you are using double irony to slam bush.

Either way, you made me think a bit... and that is a good thing... usually.

BTW Those of you who like to support bush with sarcasm would enjoy http://blamebush.typepad.com/

I think we are spread pretty thin, any more conflicts and can we say draft? If Iran turns nasty and it could we could see a draft. Russia and China are not our Friends eather. I would say definite draft if a conflict breaks out between the U.S and any one of these country's.
