The bible says it is not Gods will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

God loves Atheist and you and I. He gives them every opportunity to have salvation. This why He is trying to reach them daily.

Good question! God Bless You!

You may not want to hear this, but I believe the true nature of God is far different than what's expressed by most religions. The God I've seen evidence of would far prefer atheists to people looking for "swift judgment". I don't think God's very happy about all the killing and politics in "his" name either!

God is going to bring swift Justice let me explain
(2 Peter 3:8-9) 8 However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. 9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. . .

you have to remember in geologic time our entire civilization is just a blip , likewise God is timeless [he doesn't go by earth time] his time is close, & he really wants all good people to live, but he does have a definate point where his patience will end
(Matthew 24:36-39) . . .“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be. . .

God is not acting in judgement in todays dispensation of GRACE. He is letting all men know that He has done all that is necessary to reconcile them to Himself, thru the finished work on the Cross. By believing in the death, burial and resurrection, all men can appropriate the provision God has made FOR them, as a GIFT.

All of Gods judgment fell on Jesus Christ at the Cross. UNBELIEF in that awesome ACT on our behalf is the ONLY thing that will condemn a person to hell.

Athiests have chosen to believe there isnt a God...and God says..."A man who says there is no God is a fool"

God is offering GRACE and forgiveness and reconciliation to all who will BELIEVE. GREAT NEWS, even for athiests. All they have to do is to "change their mind"...ie: the biblical definition for "repent" ....WINK

The new testament portrays Jesus as interpreting it that "there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent." This emphasis on the lost, the hurting, the disadvantaged and marginalized is seen throughout the Hebrew and Christian Bibles. While the Pharisees and religious leaders were emphasizing the sentiments of Psalm 1:1 ("Blessed is the man / who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked / or stand in the way of sinners / or sit in the seat of mockers") Jesus instead sides with the prophet Ezekiel when he says "if I say to the wicked man, 'You will surely die,' but he then turns away from his sin and does what is just and right... None of the sins he has committed will be remembered against him." (Ezek 33:11-13)

Jesus likens a "sinner" to one who is lost. Finding him is more important than many who are not lost. In modern terms, we often see many men and women risking their lives to try to save one person. The person in peril is at that moment more important than those who are not. If the "sinners" are people in peril, then it makes sense that Jesus spends more time with them. Thus Jesus turns the statement of the Pharisees on its head, changing it from an accusation to justification of his actions.

Maybe for the most part atheist are good people not deserving the swift judgment you perceive. Or maybe, there is no god. Either way, your question merely shows your bias and ignorance. (as well as a mean streak)

Because that's what we all are before Christ comes into our lives. Today's atheist is tomorrow's saint. A famous example is Antony Flew, famed atheist turned beleiver in God. I don't know if he has made the extra connection between Christ and God yet.

"Swift judgment" means only one particular thing to me. It means the loss of remediation and discourse with God to appeal.

The completion of the lifeline is only fair. And yet, nobody knows whether our swift judgment may occur, as we might die tomorrow. The chritian, hindu, agnostic, buddhist, and atheist alike may be closer to swift judgment than we know. Death may be at out doorstep, and we don't realize right now.

because if he existed he would!!! answered your own question!

Im not an Atheist but I bet you that is what they would say to you!

You will never convince one that they will go to Hell or lay in Judgment, just like they are never going to convince you that god does not exist. it is a silly fight so IF their is a god im sure he does not because it is petty and if the atheist are right then how can one if it does not exist?

See my point here? Only theists will believe that so unless the non theists believe it what point does it server or make?

NOW I can say being Native American Mother Earth has definitely shown her anger towards Humanity all over the world that she is not happy with us. We should listen more to our own planet and atmosphere and protecting it before we destroy so much of it that she in return just wipes us extinct.

This planet has outlived many species and it will probably outlive humans too.

Right Now, in this Time Period, GOD is Trying to Save EVERYBODY.

Did you know that in the Tribulation, Hard-Headed People will Finally Accept Jesus as their Saviour because of all of the Hell they will go through? (and if that tribulation hadn't happened, they woulda' busted Hell wide-open)

Alot will not Accept Jesus too!

Something about Hard Times that will make some People use their FreeWill and "Change"
their Minds bout' Things!!!
