Both. Jesus is God the Son and God the Father is ... well, God the Father. So is God the Holy Spirit. As such they are all together and individually the MIGHTY GOD.

Both Jehovah and Jesus are called Mighty God. The title “Mighty God” applied to Jesus Christ at Isaiah 9:6 is also used to prove that Jesus is God, because Isaiah 10:21 and Jeremiah 32:18 speak of Jehovah God as “mighty God.” But here again too much is read into the texts. Only the superlatives and the infinites can dogmatically be limited to Jehovah, such as “the Most High.” Jesus is a god, a mighty god, and so is Jehovah a God, a mighty God. But additionally, Jehovah is the mighty God and also the God Almighty. The term in the Hebrew, el gibbór, “mighty God,” is not limited to Jehovah, but the term el Shaddái, “God Almighty,” is.—Gen. 17:1.

Okay, I think you have Jesus and God in general confused. This is a difficult one because most leaders do not answer it well. Jesus is the Word of God. Not to be confused with the same phrase "Word of God" that means a Bible. Take a look at John 1:1-5. He explains it as well as I think it can be said right there. When God communicates, that is the Word of God. And God made His communication, His voice, His expression to mankind, into a human being. The verses you are quoting were said before Jesus as the human being was made. But God's Word still existed. He said stuff. And sometimes in picture form, like the fire in the bush to Moses. Then, too He spoke. All of that was God's Word. And it was God. No one got too stressed about calling one part this and the whole of God another. It's all God. But people were doing such a bad job of following Him he sent a better guide. Not just giving us prophets as He'd done before. He made a human who did, spoke, lived, nothing but Him and His expressions, His will, to us. Even John the Baptist was not totally immersed in God's will. He spoke for God, and Jesus called him the greatest, but he was still John, a sinner too. As were all the prophets before. And after. Except for the one special one, Jesus, who was literally God's Word. And the only one we've ever been allowed to worship as God. The bible also says "God is spirit." He is not confined with in human form. But he took (he added) human form to Himself. It's not the Bible we worship as if it is the same thing as God.
Although some do. And they who do so are wrong. Without the spirit, bible words are like Jesus before he rose back to life. Is God's mouth detached from God? He merged His Word with human flesh when He made Jesus, but that's not all of Him. Jesus had a personality too. Totally by choice in submission to the Father (the one who created Him.) Jesus said he was IN the Father, and the Father was IN him. Before Jesus was made, God's Word certainly existed, and if God spoke to me, no one would be surprised if I fell down and worshiped Him. It's actually the same thing. It is very hard to communicate this concept well. Read John 1:1-5. He says it better than anytime I've ever tried to. The Hebrews call that Son of God, Y'shua. Same thing. Actually, their pronounciation is the more accurate one. Good luck with this one. If you get it, you got more than most of the people who call themselves Christians. God bless.

Isa 9, is a prophecy saying he will be "called",

this is slightly different from "being "

Moses was called God to Pharaoh. (Ex 7:1)

Judges are called gods (Ps 82:6)

Why? because they had the power of life and death over people.

Does Jesus have power of life and death over people?

Yes.

Why? because he always had that power, or was it because God gave him that power?

What does the word God / god mean?

It means 'Mighty One'

Is Jesus a Mighty One? Yes, Why because God appointed him above all others.

Is Jesus the Almighty? No 1 Cor 15: 27For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.

28When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.

tells us that God excluded himself from this appointment.

We obey Jesus because God commands us to.

.

Both are Equivalent. Jesus is God in Human form.

To prve that... you have to have belief. Let the Holy Spirit work through you (holy Spirit = God in human). I cannot tell you how, you have to believe he's there and accept Him.
