I'm seriously addicted to soda, candy, and junk food!!
And I really wanna lose weight, but I can't break the habit. I work out for 40 minutes a day Mon-Fri, but I always eat unhealthy things and can't lose weight. I'm 14 years old, I weigh 123 pounds, and I'm 5'7" 1/2. How can I lose about 10 pounds??? Thanks

lol I'm seriously fat!! I look in the mirror and I have a big tummy (NOT PREGNANT) and I have fat rolls :( icky

you are actually at an ideal weight for your height. You may still have puppy fat but you will have to wait like the rest of us until you are about 16 to get rid of that.
don't diet too much because at 14, you will still grow and if you don't eat right, you might have a problem of being the shortest in class.
You know you weaknesses, so stop them or at least ease up on them, easier said than done. Here's how I curve my junk intake - I allow myself one junk a day - so if I have a soda today, I can't eat pototoe chips, if I have a bag of candy, then I can't have my soda. If you are hungry, eat fruits like apples instead, drink a lot of water. But at your age and weight and height, I don't think you will lose 10 pounds, not because you don't have the perseverence but because the body will not allow you to be that thin - it's unhealthy for the growing body.

If you're fat you need to lose more than 10 LBs. Cut out all the bad foods you've been eating and work out at least 30 mins a day. If you do that you'll lose about a pound a week. It's best to lose weight slowly so you won't gain it back.

Try not to drink soda, candy and junk food because they are the things that make everyone fat. You can walk every day. You can be on diet. You can eat fruits. It will work.

???? you weigh 123 pounds... and your 5'7" 1/2... and you think your fat? If you lose 10 pounds you will look like a walking stick.

I don't think you are overweight at 123 and 5'7" 1/2.I am 5'6" and look too skinny at 122 lbs.Just exercise to stay that weight. Why does girls want to be anerexic looking?

I agree you are thin for your height. you need to eat healthy foods and cut out the junk, which you already know. but you really don't need to lose even one pound, let alone 10. maybe you should talk to someone about body image.

ACTUALLY. Your BMI is currently 19. a healthy weight is a BMI of 18.5-24.9. if you lost 10 pounds your BMI would be 17.4. it is going to be hard for you to lose weight- even if you cut out the junk- your body doesnt WANT u to lose more weight... so its going to fight to keep it on!

For your height, that is a practical weight. I'm 5'6". The least I have ever weighed is 130, and that was skinny!!!! I'm 150 now.
