i watch what i eat, but i don't get much exercise, due to the fact i am mostly in the house, i care for an elderly lady with alzheimers, and we mostly just sit around! maybe go for a little walk when we can, but it's sure not enough! my hips, and butt are really big, any thing i can do while in the house to try and reduce them? also i'm almost 53, so it's way much harder now, that even 5 years ago to loose weight.i cannot afford a treadmill, so thats out. but i am looking into a stationary bike! thanks.

Some times our bodies get their shape from genetics. Maybe you can try walking. If you live around a school most of them have 1/5 mile tracks around them Parks are nice to walk in too Do you have any friends that could join you in walking. friends can offer support and get you to walk on those days you just dont feel like walking.

If you don't live too far from the lady you care for, try walking to and from her house on the days you care for her.
