this guy’s lights out, but my love and respect for her is the only thing that stops me from doing that. Now, things between us are going nice, and recently, I had a major breakthrough: I finally got to ask her out. Bad thing was, she did not make it, although she did really want to. Now, maybe you’re thinking that the other guy had something to do with it. No. it’s because of curfew. Stupid curfew. Now, the both of us are really becoming good friends, and I feel that I have a chance with her. What should I do? Thanks and God bless! :)

I can't handle your desire to punch his lights out. He has a right to find her attractive in the same way you do. I have answered these kinds of questions before: Be bright and kind and funny to her. Be uplifting. Tell her she means a lot to you, but don't make her worry that she'll have a problem if she rejects you. She DOES have a right to reject you, sorry to say, and the proper thing to do if that happens is to remain kind to her and don't pressure her in any way. Shut off your jealousy for the other guy. You only have a right to be powerfully angry at him if he hurts her physically. If he hurts her emotionally, that's just something that happens.
In short...love her if you want to, be kind, and be prepared to let her go if things do not fall into place.
