Most (not all) of those who are rich, educated, with large close-knit families and large homes are usually happy because they don't have to worry about anything. I know very rich women with beautiful children who get up at 9:00 a.m. and then go get their nails done. But some poor women and men have to get up at 3:30 a.m. and drive 50 miles just to get to work and be all stressed out and angry when they get home.

So why do the happy, rich person have a better shot of going to heaven, just because their lives are perfect?

I'm an atheist, so I believe that there's no heaven or hell for people to go to.

However, if there is a Christian heaven, it'll probably be filled with the poor and down-trodden. Just read the Sermon on the Mount--Jesus says a lot of things like "the first shall be last and the last shall be first" and "Blessed are ye poor for yours is the Kingdom of Heaven...but woe unto ye rich for ye have received your consolation"...

I know Jesus promised two people heaven. A thief that hung next to him on the cross and Mary Magdelene and you know what she had been and neither of their lives had been perfect. (Luke 23:40-43).

"What doth a man profit if he gain the whole world, but lose his own soul?"

Rich people don't have any more of a shot to go to heaven than a poor person.

"It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to go into the kingdom of heaven." ((Meaning, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man, depending on his wealth to take him to heaven, to go to heaven.))

Rich people often do not think about spiritual things because they have too many material distractions to keep them occupied.

Poor people pray more, because they are always asking God to supply what they lack.

You must have been misinformed. The way I understand it It is from GOD'S GRACE that you go to heaven not by how much or how little you have.

treat others the way you want them to treat you.
