I think you mean " Does religion feel threatened?"
How can it?
I mean religion is a construct, a culture, a schema, not a person or animal that can 'feel' anything!

I would have asked... Do some religious people feel threatened by science? Now that's a valid question!

We know of a religion that is based on a pure specific faith, while science generally struggles towards ever more knowledge.

We know of a religion that is always very vigilant and repressive towards the achievements of science that may disturb the revealed faith of that religion.

We know of a religion that has shown to ever be ready to condemn independent science, and also to condemn philosophy whenever people in such fields of human struggle for more knowledge find out of something that is contradictory, or just critical, of the dogmas of a religion and want to tell the world about it.

Some key words: Imprimatur; Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith; Catholic Church against Modernists; Inquisition; Galileo Galilei; Giordano Bruno; ...

So, we may dare say that it is science that is being threatened by a particular religion.

Yes.. cuz science will uncover religion 4 wot it really is...The sick an bad people of this world hide behind whichever holy book they read and blame it on god..really he's a scapegoat so those people who say they are holier than thou can carry on getting away with it..in my opinion our world and the people in it would be better off without it..all the religious people should be put on there own little island an left there to kill each other and leave us sane people out of it...

I dont think true faith can be threatened by science because someone with true faith is searching for truth. Science must eventually also lead to truth so that in the end there can be no conflict between the two. God knows more about science than any human ever could.
Religion is generally stuff that people do, or think they have to do, to gain good points with God. I am convinced that in reality there is nothing we can do by ourselves to win favour with God. We can only get right with God by accepting and believing what he has already done for us.

I am a Christian and I am free to interpret my Christian beliefs the way I want. But I remain a Christian nonetheless and a happy one at that. I don't want any other religion. The enemies of Christianity have this obssession trying without rest to discredit Christianity. How futile !! They will never succeed !!
Christians are intelligent people.... but those idiotic enemies of Christianity like to comment on the basis that all Christians are stupid and that they are the intelligent ones, LOLOLOL.... that is the only way they can think of to try to make their stupid "theories" stick... only they don't stick, LOL They just cannot succeed with the crap they constantly spew about Christianity. Entertaining, though !

True religion doesn't feel threatened by any truth, including scientific truth. Dalse religion does, because some of itys false teachings are contrary to clearly demonstrated scientific facts. the Catholic Church does not feel threatened by science in the least. Truth cannot be threatened by truth.

Is science threatened by religion? Yes. Depends on your definition of religion. It doesn't matter actually. No threat to me. I speak of God and stand. No need for religion. Enough said.

The Baha'i Faith states clearly that Religion and Science should complement each other - there is no threat .

No not really, I consider science a study of Gods handy work. Evolution on the other hand is guesswork disguised as science.

I think so, its plain that Religions don't like anything that questions,
Their following old outdated tales, most which have long ago been shown to be at least ignorant and maybe even dangerous.
