I got a re-enlistment code of a 4 and a JHJ WHat does this mean? Can I still re-enlist again later? I never went to boot camp and I feel that the code was wrong. When I was in the reserve. I got pregnant twice. I called the command and seen them all my documents and they gave me this code and the board won't change it. What does this code mean.

I got pregnant the same around the time I enlisted. Then my first duty weekend I fell ill. I had major surgery and I called and sent medical my medical documents. The reserve placed me on med hold and I called in once every moment. Then right before I was to be taken off of med hold I got pregnant again. I sent the reserve my pregnancy info and they still claimed that I had unsatisfactory performance I did what they asked and now I'm getting punished for wanting to have a child . Can they do that. Can they claim unsatisfactory performance in this case. and why ?

Separation program designator (SPD) JHJ means unsatisfactory performance. With an RE code of 4, I would be very pessimistic about getting back into service.

I can only speculate about what happened. Perhaps your performance was deemed unsatisfactory because you missed a high number of drills while pregnant? It's difficult to say without seeing your records in their entirety.

Reenlistment code 4 renders you ineligible to reenlist unless you obtain a waiver. You'd have an uphill climb.

(SPDs are the same in all branches)

an RE 4 means you will not be allowed to re enlist anywhere BUT and only MAYBE the National Guard. they are taking Re4s on a case by case basis.

the board will not change it unless you prove it was given in error. can you prove that the Unsuitability/unsatisfactory performance label was incorrect? my guess is..doubtful.
