I am taking up music education. the gi bill will get me as far as an associate's degree. I wanna get my bachelor's. how can I work in music, and get the military to pay for the rest of my college? and still go to school? or am i gonna get shipped out?

if you have used up all the GI bennies, your only option is to go back into the Reserves and use the tuition Assistance program through them. otherwise, the military will not fund anything more of your education.

Of course going reserves does subject you to recall/activation.

If I were you I would apply for the FAFSA. It is the federal financial aid site. It's actually called FAFSA.org. You can get grants for education there. There is also a site called FinAid.org and that one get's you into a scholarship database. Have you added time to your military commitment? Because sometimes they will add more to your GI Bill if you re-enlist.
