OK Californians my friend moved from Virginia to Compton. He said his wife and him found a nice house in Compton for 450,000 dollars in a new community. I have not been to Compton or Cali for that matter, but I have never heard anyone refer to Compton as having a "nice area". Is he in denial or is Compton not that bad?

Although Compton may have a "nice" area, overall it is among the worse areas for crime. Murders, drugs, gangs. If I were him I would try and get some equity in the house and move as fast as he can afford to do so. Unless they are "gang" folks.

He is in denial. Compton is among one of the worst communities in SoCal. It is riddled with poverty, drugs, and gang warfare.
