Upscaling DVD question.?

Hi, I have an upscaling DVD and it gives me the option between 1080i 50Hz and 1080i 60Hz. My question is, what is the difference in the two? Does one look better than the other? Thank You.

In other words, 50/60 hz is not YOUR option but an option based upon what country you're in. For North America, use 60 hz.

Depends on your TV/Display

NTSC is 60Hz (North America, Japan)
PAL/SECAM is 50 Hz (everywhere else)
