Like i said it was fine last night..No signs of the speakers going or anything..and the tv isnt that old either just got it a few years ago. Got up this morning and there isnt any sound, not even when I hook up the DVD player or hook anything up to it...No sound at all!!!! What happend????? blown speakers?? if that was the case wouldnt there be warning signs?

No its not on mute..i checked that, the settings are all ok, and I tried unplugging it more then once...still not working...geez im not some stupid idiot that would have it on mute and not realize it.

Theres nothing plugged into it....I dont have to plug in cables to have sound..i only do that when i want to hook up my DVD player..and i tried unplugging all of that, and still no sound even on the DVD player as well, and like i said..i was working just last night:S I know stuff about electronics...so I know how to set up the cables and all that, but im telling ya...NOTHING WORKS

Run a test. Or rather...start over. Take off every appliance and every cable to the television. Now connect them one by one in each input so that you know that the sound is working. Use something like an MP3 player that you know will work or something to that effect.

If you really have no clue after that let me know

Check the mute button on the remote, you could have pushed it accidentally.

Try unplugging it and plugging it back up.
