is it because he has a championship under his belt and going for another one? Is it because he is a dominate driver? Or a great contender? Or that he has 6 clean wins? Or maybe because he's a great looking guy? (that's pretty dumb) Or because you hate Jeff Gordon? Or is it just because he drives for Hendricks? Or because Jeff Gordon is he's team mate? Or because Jeff Gordon owns 1/2 of his car? I just don't get it? Here we have a dominate, clean driver who don't whine, or complain, crash into other drivers every week (like JPM) or blame other people for his mistakes, why all the hatetried for a great nascar diver? As avid Nascar fan I just don't get it???
I do not want to hear stupid, and rude comments, I am asking the true nascar fans, only real and true reasons for this questions, I don't want to hear from Tinabuttface or Heywood Jablome because you 2 know nothing at all about nascar just pure rudness!!!

in dega, dale jr pushed jj and cause that wreck dont yall remember the replays 100 times,thats ok though hes good and so is chad, its a awsome combo that cant be beat i like jj and jeff, dale jr. is just ok .i dont like his loud mouth fans.they got him overated , even jr. has said he dont deserve all the credit he recieves, there not real fans. only poser types who boo them. cause everyone else does. i go to the races and catch hell for my 24,48 shirts and my 2kb shirts, , im not going to jump on the boo wagon..! they dont have the guts to have there own opinion!!jj wins and they hate it, same reson i dislike carl hes good,but i dont give his fans a hard time or finger him like they do my guys.i remember they boo dale sr. and fingered him allso. now those same people think hes god. but hes was a dirty ruthless driver. they forget about that obviosly,he was a jerk plan and simple...

I truly don't hate any NASCAR drivers. It takes great talent and ability to manuver a racecar around a track at 200 + speeds.
I am a Job Gibbs fan and cheer for Steward and Hamlin but I don't wish ill on any other drivers. I have a lot of respect for many of the drivers in face. The Burton brothers and great guys, Bobby Labonte is awesome. I could go on and on.
I go to Martinsville every year since I live nearby. I know before I go that more than likely I will see a Gordon or a Johnson win....Oh well maybe next year! LOL
I do hate the negativity that we all hear in here about this driver or that driver. I will never understand how people can use the word "hate" so easily....

Well, not every true fan has to like him, but I think there are a couple of factors that play into the fact Jimmie is not more popular than he is:
1) Guilt by association. People are jealous of the HMS success and he's a big part of it.
2) Some people see him as Gordon Lite, and so the haters of Gordon hate him too.
3) He is a bland personailty to some people. He doesn't so anything to be a villian, he doesn't quite have a enough "wow" factor to be hugely popular.
The good news for Jimmie is that I don't think he cares. He'll smile all the way to victory lane...and to the bank.

I actually liked him when he came into NASCAR. He had a personality then. Now he just just a little Jeffy Jr. I don't like that nothing is every his fault. Any incident he is in gets the same response. "I don't know what happened" Dude get an opinion on something. People ask you because they want to know. I still think he is a good driver. I mean he won and championship and runs up front every year. No issues there.

He's a smartalic and a Jeff Gordon wannabe. He even whines like Jeff Gordon. I hate that Jr. is going to his team. I think they're just a bunch of cheaters. I think Nascar helps them win. Why else would the pentalize Carl after the race? They didn't check any of the other drivers in the Chase's cars. They're doing to Carl now, what they did to Denny last year. They only want Hendrick cars to win. That's they way it's been in the last several years and it's not fair.

I'm not a Jimmie fan myself . I don't hate him ,I just don't pull for him .
I feel that if everyone liked the same driver that Nascar would be pretty boring .
To me those that make distasteful comment's aren't true Nascar fan's and only say things to get that particular driver's fan's upset .
I have been a Nascar fan since 1993 . From day one I have pulled more for the Ford driver's ,although I do have a few favorite 's that are in other makes .
My favorite Chevy driver.'s.. Clint Bowyer,Ward Burton,Scott Wimmer ,Johnny Sauter,Mike Wallace and Casey Mears. Also like JJ Yeley , Tony Stewart and Denny Hamlin who I will continue to pull for when they go to Toyota .
Just because you choose not to pull for a certain Nascar driver doesn't make you any less of a true Nascar fan.

Just because he is a champion doesn't mean true Nascar fans have to be fans of him. There are 42 other cars on the track, along with a few others. People can be fans of one driver or many, and can be fans of whoever they want to be. Fans also have drivers they have dislikes for their own reasons.
If all true Nascar fans were a fan of Jimmy, why would the other 42 need to show up?

I do not hate Jimmie Johnson, I think the reason most people don't like him is he is Jeff Gordon's team mate...Jimmie is a nice guy, I;ve met him & his wife, both are such nice people.. In every sport there's teams you hate, and people you just have to hate...I'm looking forward to Jimmie being Dale Jr's team mate next yr....I do love Jimmie's burn out's when he wins....nope this Nascar doesn't hate Jimmie at all...

I dont think it's actually hate.....i just think it's cuz he's not their driver ya know?? it's like any other sport.....you never like the opposing team!!! it's like the 49 ers & the raiders, or the angels & the A's.....
It's part of competition, it's part of the sport!!! it adds to the diversity!! 43 drivers that's alot of different fans & alot of different opinions!!! if everyone liked the same driver dont you think that would be boring??? it's ok to flick a little s*** or ruffle some feathers it comes with the territory.....but its not ok to take it to extremes and be down right obnoxious or rude!!!
It's never gonna matter who has what stats it's always gonna be about WHO likes WHO and thats it!!!!
So i just say take it all with a s*** eating grin and remember you picked your driver for who he is and what he can do.....it doesnt matter what other people say...you have to remember people are just as devoted to their driver as you are to yours sooooo.....not everyone will "show the love" !!!!

He tries to be Jeff lite he makes mistakes and has a smugness like why is evryone against me it wasn't my fault so if you like vanella race drivers then you can't get more boring than the 48 at least jeff gets his whine up to a roar once in a while

I don't hate J. Johnson, after all, he still drives a Chevrolet....
I'm happy anytime a Chevy driver wins, especially the Championship......
