In my family it is not a big deal. We're nudists, so we recognize that there is nothing inherently wrong about the human body - especially in family living situations! Our kids have seen us nude, and it is not a big deal. As long as you teach them that it is OK in appropriate situations, there should be no problem.
If your kids ask questions, answer them. Usually a straightforward answer will satisfy their curiousity. If we as parents don't teach our children what their parts are, who will? Friends in the locker room?
We've taken our children to nude beaches and nudist resorts, and they've suffered no ill effects. People these days seem to equate nudity and sexuality - but some of us understand that the two are separate concepts.

i still take my 2 year old in the shower with me, it is more convenient. I take him potty with me and everything just because I won't leave him alone. they can get into danger in just a few seconds. If he doesn't need a shower, say i've given him a bath cause he's gotten food all over him or we played outside, then I just lock the door (he's opening doors now too) and have toys for him to play with and things to do while i shower, so i can watch him while i'm in the shower. the top of my curtain is see through, which is so convenient for that too. anyway, i'd say whatever you are comfy with. Of course, when he starts noticing my body and getting curious cause it different than his, then i will quit and bathe him seperate. that's just me though, it depends on how you feel about it. good luck and God Bless.

I have a four year old son, and I stopped taking him in the tub with me once he was old enough to walk. That was when he was about 6 months old. After that he seemed aware enough that he might retain some memory of seeing me naked, so I stopped.

It boils down to what YOU are comfortable with. Your child is going to pick up your feelings in this matter. If you have hang ups, the belief that non-sexual nudity is intrinsically evil, or that there is something basically wrong with the human body... then by all means, cover up now. Like the poster above that will probably earn a fist full of thumbs down, I treat nudity as a natural state of being that it sometimes is...

i assume it relies upon on the boy and the relatives. My college roommate is a nudist, raised in a nudist enjoyed ones. Her finished relatives by no skill stopped going nude around one yet another and, even even with the undeniable fact that each and every of the little ones are grown now, they nevertheless do it to this present day. i've got even been bare together with her relatives. even with the undeniable fact that it appeared akward in the beginning up, her relatives in many circumstances occurring me and made me sense welcome, and intensely at present I felt completely comfortable. Nudity is extremely freeing and is something greater human beings could practice. actual, what could you quite have your son see as his first bare woman: his mom--an everyday, favourite woman--or the airbrushed stick insect interior the Playboy some chum of his stole from his dad and introduced to college? If he in many circumstances sees his mom/sisters/relatives in a state of undress, he will boost to appreciate that no longer all women are appropriate, foremost him to be greater respectful in direction of women in many circumstances and he would be much less curious, so he would be much less probable to work together in sexual intercourse formerly he's reached the surprising adulthood point. I say there is not any age at which a boy could give up seeing his mom bare. The human physique is a captivating factor. Why could we cover it from one yet another?

My children are 4 & 5 and while i don't shower with them reguarly if we are running late i will tell them to get in as i am getting out. They see me naked when i get in or out of the shower or when i am getting dressed. It doesn't seem like a big deal because i am there mother although i have been wondering myself when i should stop.(My husband has never showered with them and refuses to let them see him naked.) Its a hard question with no clear guidelines. I guess it depends on your individual family.

I'm still doing it and my son is 3 1/2. I think I will probably stop when it becomes weird- like if he starts asking questions or touching my boobs or something. I think he doesn't think it's weird because he's used to it.
I do it because he's hyper and I have to keep him busy or he gets into trouble.

It's not a big deal. I'd say stop at 3. That's how old my nephew was when he stopped seeing my sister naked.

I don't think there's any particular age, but 2 years is certainly safe. Your son will let you know when he feels embarrassed.
