Hello My Friend:

I was surfing the web and I saw the trouble you were having passing the nclex. I too had the same problem when I took the nclex. I had to take it 3 times!

Here is my story:

http://caring4you.net/advice.html

I have some FREE resources that you can use for resources:

NCLEX Forum:

NCLEX Questions:

I would suggest you buy my CD's"

The problem with all these review books and courses is that they do not focus on delegation and prioritization enough. The nclex has changed in the wake of 9/11 and these two concepts are tested very heavily. I saw a weakness in these areas and this is why I made my 6 CD's

My Seminar is definately a need for you. But may I also suggest some must need books.

I absolutely think that Lippincott's NCLEX Review is great. It has 3000 questions with answers and rationale and it is divided into the 9 systems.

My friend, I am extremely passionate about helping people pass their nclex and I would not steer you wrong. My site is updated daily. I trust by now you found the FREE nclex questions on my site:
http://caring4you.net/tests.html

And I update my NCLEX Series every month so I am really on top of the NCLEX. My series use to sell for $199.00 but I lowered the price simply because I care for students, I care for people.

You don't have to buy the books new on Amazon. People are selling them used just be sure you get the latest edition. I would do 150 questions a day and if you buy my series I will walk you through how to study.

Good luck and God bless you.

Keep taking nclex until you pass! And try to relax instead of getting all uptight about the test. At least, the next time, you will know what to expect.
Maybe you over-studied and read too much into the questions. I took the old state board exams....I could have written anywhere from a paragraph to a short book about every single question on those tests, but barely passed because I read too much into the questions.

This is just a bump in the road, not the end of the world. The world needs RNs, and I am willing to bet that you will be a good one. I retired two years ago; you can take my place.
My very best to you!!!!!

Please DO NOT be so hard on yourself. Give yourself credit for all the years you have put into school, I think that is GREAT, I know it is very hard when you went through so much school then you didn't pass the nclex, it happens to a lot of people, remember when you fall off the horse you gotto get back on and start riding again. Please look in a local phone book under mental health clinics or family therapy you need to talk to someone instead of being so hard on yourself, I have gone to therapy for a few years and it helps to say what is on your mind and ask for advise when your not sure.I believe you will get back on your feet again and you will pass the nex time you take the test.
Best of luck!

I think that you are only making it worse by not looking at your books. I mean think about it. You fail, you don't study, you fail again.. It's a vicious cycle. Big deal, you failed. There are ALWAYS a million more chances.. SO TAKE THEM!! Pick up your books, study, and succeed. And failure isn't always a bad thing, you learn from your mistakes.

Good luck with school and everything else.

Noroofoverhead--you have been reported. Have a nice day.

Take NCLEX again.
Best thing to do is to relax; take seven deep breaths before you read each question---this will take you out of "fight or flight" and put you into the "breed and feed" mode.

Failure doesn't mean the course was a wasted experience, you studied and learnt things I'm sure. It means you have an opportunity to learn some more and refine what you know! Unlike Harry Potter, your books don't have teeth so you have no reason not to pick them up and get on with it.

Hi... i'm sorry about nclex... but i know you can do it! after all of that nursing school, you've gained a wealth of information and i'm sure you did well.

You have suffered a disappointment, but hon, try again! Pick yourself up, dust yourself off. YOU CAN!

sending hugs and best wishes!

I listen to 'that's life' by frank sinatra...'riding high in April, shot down in Spring...' about getting back on my feet...do it honey, we all have our ups and downs, don't be so hard on yourself..Many attornies fail their board exams, as do doctors, etc...you have put too much time in it to throw it all away. Just study and take the test again, and put the darn thing behind you. as "arnold' would say, "YOU CAN DO IT"

Failure! is very essential to become successfull. Failure shows you how bad it is if you don't perform and when its next time you just make it... Failure is not to fear but to make you understand the importants of being succesful. My best wishes to you. If you act now your sure to reach heights and mark places.

start over. Be strong, because you know you can do it.
There is nothing to be afraid of, everybody can fail sometimes. But we can also move on, and recover from that.
GOOD LUCK!
