You are obviously a very hurt and angry person. And I think you are intelligent enough to figure out, that The Bible, teaches us about our spiritual life.
However, the Bible is full of other very basic teachings, like how to keep our ground fertile, and other scientific facts.
Just like the Koran, is a book for the Muslims, the Bible is the book for Christians.
God is the greatest scientist of all, and it is left up to man "to ponder a matter". That means, learn about it, whether it be the universe or other subjects.
Reading the Bible does not negate schooling, (or how would we be able to read!) science, and we now have the Internet to help us communicate quickly, with people in other countries.
And use it to learn more about other subjects.
Unfortunately, the Internet is also used by very evil people, for pornography and all sorts of stuff. But you sort out the wheat from the chaff.
We just live in an age where knowledge has increased, and in Matthew 24, when Jesus Christ spoke of the end times, He said that this would happen. God bless you.

If the antecedent were true, then your consequent would make sense. Since, however, the Bible does not have 'all the answers' in the sense you give to 'all' (nor does it claim to, nor do Christians or Jews claim that it does). Jesus himself said 'you will see greater things than these'. That is why Bible-based believers have always 'bothered' with universities, science, the arts, etc. Have a great day!

About a week ago I asked what one book everyone thought should be read by everyone on earth, excepting religious texts like the bible and the koran. This was on the answers I got
"The Bible was written as an advanced scientific instruction book by the God Yahweh for mankind to follow in order to survive on Earth for many generations to come. You can dump every other book written by mankind into one big pit and burn them because firewood is all they are good for."
I was stunned to say the least. Its hard to believe that there really are people who think this way.

The bible talks about giants, angels, demons, shapeshifters, and gods... things for which there is no scientific proof of.
But it leaves out, Neanderthal-man, dinosaurs, giant birds, etc. things for which there is plenty of proof of (even if you don't believe in evolution, these things were once here).
+++++
Also! The Judeo-Christian god doesn't get mad when humans destroy the earth or animals or other humans. Num. 1 he tells you to do those things all the time. Sacrifice animals...kill your brother (moses..after the hebrews pray to the calf). man has dominance over the earth.
Because there has been such a melding of easter phillosophy in the western world--people believe that god was Buddha-like. God didn't want peace. He just wants everyone to love him. He is a needy megalomaniac.

My dear one near as I can determine you have been in this forum for several hours now looking for something...but what? Take time to use your intelligence to search your heart and decide what that something is. After you have determined that...come back...then our puny minds will try our best to answer your questions based on our faith and beliefs...ok? In the meantime I for one have never said the Bible(sic) has all the answers. The bible has the ONLY answer...JESUS CHRIST...He is the TRUTH and the WAY and the LIFE. Amen

the bible has all the answers to questions that really matter.
the rest of the questions in life that we deal with are just temporary distractions but necessary ways for us to get were we are supposed to go. since we, humans are made out of matter (ie flesh, cells, atoms) in order to understand and sustain the knowledge that we get from the bible we also have to learn how to deal with the concrete things around us. hence the need to go to school, read books and science. also there are people who need to understand concrete things first before truly appreciating lofty and spiritual ideas.

Sorry I'm not one of those Christians who claim to have all the answers or believes the Bible has all the answers.
If you think you have all the answers, you're so full of pride you can't see straight.
Plus all the answers by definition means you don't need faith.
Finally - like Joyce Mayers says, "If I had all the answers, I'd be GOD." as in, almost a form of blasphemy.
What the BIBLE does provide to me at least is:
1. Basic instruction in living a Christian life;
2. Peace and comfort in times of trials and tribulations;
3. Hope in the face of despair;
4. Personal communion with my FATHER, a way to hear HIM speak to me.
I know you don't believe any of this - and I appreciate the sarcasm in your question - but as we say in AA "Thanks for letting me share!"

School is mandatory. Books, the net and science either verify or put into question what the Bible says. You do a disservice to yourself if you do not investigate.

The Bible has all the answers relevant to man's relationship with God and principles of Christian living. But it doesn't tell us everything beyond that.
