dyed my teenage daughters hair last weekend using permanent schwarzcopf "live" colour.looks great, bright purple, but school not too happy about it,so need to correct it, preferably dark brown.not sure what product i should use and how effective it will be.any advice would be hugely appreciated.many thanks.

I hope she goes to a private school, because I don't believe you should bow down like this if it's a public school, since you as her mother don't have a problem with it.

Be careful with the color because this can get worse. Consult a salon for advice; it's great that you want to go darker because bleaching it out would be so so so bad for her hair.

I would consult a hairdresser, you may make a real mess of her hair if you try to cover it up with another dye. Just call in to a salon and explain the problem, they will tell you what can be done, then it is up to you if you take their advice or try it on your own.

you would have to bring her to a hairdressers and get the colour striped out of her hair when that's done then you can dye it dark brown

I would just leave it the colour it is, if the school don't like it then they will just have to get used to it. If you an your daughter like it then thats all that matters. sounds cool to me.
