Effective May, 2008 ID card will be mandatory in the U.S.. How will this affect Christians?

The End Times have been escalating, thanks to The Bilderberg Group, the U.N., press, multinational corporations and national leaders. The U.S. Government is promoting the One World Order. Bush has announced a mandatory ID card will be issued beginning March, 2008. Microchips will be implanted in human beings, products, businesses, etc. to keep track of us and what we purchase. It will control our purchasing rights and monitor our movements.
Christians are warned about accepting this 'mark of the beast' as predicted in The Revelation. Are we to accept it for survival and if so, would it align us with the anti-Christ? Would it threaten our entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven? Please give me your wisdom and concerns about the coming events based on fact and it's relationship to Christian spirituality. I hope this will not be used for verbal abuse or character assassination. Your thoughts?

You know the answers. Don't have anything to do with it. As you stated, this is a sign of the end times. God will not let his followers suffer. Have faith that He will take care of us. The rapture may follow in the not too distant future.

You've been listening to a little too much coast to coast am lately, particularly Alex Jones and that lady who obsesses over the implanted chips.

Id cards I can see, most countries have those anyway, they're usually called passports or enhanced drivers liscences.

Stores and such can tell who you are and where you're going by the bar codes on the products you buy and how you use your debit or credit card.

Chill, what makes you think end times are going to be horrific, it just might be the end of the materialistic egocentric world we now live in , rather than ww3 or Armagedden.

Find something to laugh at and quit reading all those end time books and such.

I think this Is the percursor to the mark of the beast. Because this IS deemed the New ID card, and nobody will be able to counterfeit this great new plan. Many will take It thinking this way their Idenity will be more protected. Then the mark of the beast will be more readily accepted when It moves to a higher level,thus leading to the REAL mark. They will be deceived Into the subtle approach that satan has already had In place with us slowly moving Into a cashless society. I for one will not take It !!! I don't care what they say....Money orders,checks,credit cards,electronic transactions. Next they will scan your hand...We all know what this Is...Pray for God's divine wisdom & knowledge. Be full of the Holy Spirit.
I just watched a special on this very thing. It showed several people taking this micro-chip. It showed the actual procedure. Then what surprized me was they said you feel different after having took It. It's a procedure that Is performed In the dr'.s office and they have to use a local anesthetic to Insert this. It showed the needles they used and everything.

It is just another step closer to THE mark, but the card itself isn't the mark. Also pay close attention to the events happening in and around Israel. That is the key.

Have you heard of the North American Union? America, Canada, and Mexico got together in 05 and signed it.

I was concerned at first but this is just the US mocking whats going to happen to happen to the whole world not just one part of it. He is a pawn in this prophecy preparing you to take the true mark of the beast. Its is ok to take this ID it is not a mark on the hand or forehead. Its a card with a tracking chip in it. They not going to kill you if you don't take it just inprison you well not in the open for an example like the beast will.

As far as the id cards go, it's a proposal not accepted yet.

The mircochip thing isn't anywhere near being approved since they found it causes health problems in animals.

Additionally, we don't know that any of those things would qualify as the "mark of the beast' that's speculation as well.

Utlimately, as we progress in the security of our nation we'll have to take things as they come and pray for guidance. Keeping your eyes fixed on Christ is the best answer. Don't spend a lot of time worrying about this stuff...we don't know how it will play out.

Personally, I think ID cards are a good idea. But I've never been worried about the government keeping tabs on me or tapping my phone...I'd bore them to tears with my life.

Look at every sitcom! The Men of the households in every sitcom is a wimp who can't run his own home and the public just soaking it in and thinking it is funny. this is NOT how God designed authority. You say"come on Newman, it's only a sitcom."

i have not heart this on the news...i think it will be awhile before anything like this gets through.

even bill clinton mentioned this smart card....to avoid and spot illegal immigrants...if we stop giving them jobs and free services, they would not come here

but to answer the question....the mark of the beast cannot be instituted until there is a beast....who has not come on the scene yet...and the mark is really symbolic- the hands represent our work...and the forehead represents our thoughts....God is more concerned about our spiritual condition than what someone forces on our bodies.

ps....ok I found it...but it is not a chip...it is just an electronic card...we already have this technology...on our credit cards and ATMs...it is not going in our hands and foreheads....we have to do something to monitor terrorists coming into this country....i am not worried about this....
