I have a bad temper and am angry at the majority of the time at the whole world. I cant see any right in the world really. I am severely unfit, well overweight. I am big built and designed to fight, some men are made like little monkeys to run and climb im designed to stand and fight. Would it help with my rage and give me discipline. I want to knock some cocky think they are it bastards on their ***. I am an educated man and am not that good looking losing my looks dont bother me. I know violence has no place in civilised society, i hate people who think they are tough and are bullys, or un-provoked violent attacks. it doesent solve anything but i cant help feeling I WANT to fight.

Boxing a punch bag would definitely be better than making real human beings as your opponents. As you said, you are an educated man and should know that violence will only land you in more trouble. Try some relaxation techniques so to control your temper... example yoga and meditation exercises. From the way you wrote, I assume you have violent tendencies which is dangerous!!
Before you feel like hitting someone, tell yourself not to because it will not help solve the problem. Learn to walk away from the person. Of course if the person does hit you, defend but don't harm the person. If you manage to do that, you are the true winner.

I know how you feel... even though I'm most likely not around your age. I suggest taking martial arts.. such as taekwondo, karate, etc. Since the basis of most martial arts is discipline. Boxing, I heard from friends is mainly for sport and competition, which has a chance of making you more enraged if your very competitive.
If your also looking to lose weight at the same time, i would suggest taekwondo (but you must be focused on what your doing, and practice hard). If your tall it would be a good advantage when sparring since taekwondo uses leg attacks 90% of the time. I am a 1st dan black belt in taekwondo and lost almost 8 kg after comming back from a 3 year break (which i gained alot of weight).
Anyways martial arts can help you use words before fist, once you train for long enough, and teach you to fight. Boxing, though, could just help you fight. (I'm not very sure on boxing, since i know it on from my friends, but my guess is about 70%-80%)

I don't know WHY you are so mad at the world, but rage channeled into exercise, like fighting might help you feel better. I wouldn't just go out and pick a fight with someone, you'll end up in jail to say the least. I know when I got divorced many years ago and got ripped off on my child support I was ANGRY....and I found a house to rent that had no grass in the yard and went and rented an 8hp tiller to tear up the dirt with before putting grass seed out. That tiller was so rough that it slung me around for the 10 hours I rented it for, and I cried just hanging onto it. That and using a hoe and spade to plant with, got all that anger out of me! At the end of 6 months I not only had the best looking yard of green grass, but I wasn't mad any more, either! It was cheaper than therapy, too!

Hi....
I think that boxing might be very helpful for you -- also another good outlet would be joining a gym and making sure you go routinely -- or else start a walking program for yourself.
You could do a yahoo search on anger self help. Perhaps you'd get a lot of good information for changing things so you don't feel such anger. Therapy also works when we work it.
I had issues stemming from my childhood which caused me to feel angry for years and years... through therapy i learned how to let it go. I didn't realize how ILL i felt while being angry all of the time. It's a relief for me. I never knew what 'relaxed' was.
i hope things work out for you and in your life. take care.

I think that is a great idea...go to a gym, and even think about competing...Mike Tyson became a vicious fighter, from being abused as a kid, and he too, had the body and attitude, to do some damage so he made money off of it..go for it, and at least you know that it is better than kicking someone's **** and going to jail

word once you're beginning off to get offended and ask your self, "Do i prefer to bypass down that street surprising now?" rather watch whilst your anger gets prompted. do no longer enable your self to at present overreact and don't enable your self to at present start up yelling or perhaps speaking. Take a 2d to ask your self no count if that's well worth it.
