i ask a question a month ago about my pregnant guppies... i got my answer, but my guppie is still pregnant she is n ow twice the size and her back is bent like a boomerang... how much longer till she has her fry, it has almost been 2 months???? help plz

hi sarah. a guppie may remain pregnant for 7 months after [exposure] they can and do absorb rather than drop thier fry.thier are triggers that may help to induce[birth] ;water changes,raising temp.[slowly] 4-5 degrees ect.if you are seriouse about raising guppies arm yourself with knowledge as you seem to be doing.thier is nothing like the written word & applying what you learn.for starters; try to keep your mama guppy in a good stress free enviroment.good diet places to retreat ect. buy books sub. to mags.T.F.H ECT. The best way to tell how far she is along, is by looking at her stomach, it get's a squarely appearance just beneath the head, which the following article and the video will show you better

And i'm also sure that she had had fry in the meantime, you might not have seen any, because she might have eaten them

make sure you have lots water plants for the fry to hide in, for a better survival rate have some floating weed in your tank, dont be too dissapointed if not many survive cause mummy and daddy like to eat them, but i have always managed to keep them going by having lots of plants for hiding in.

any time now. just keep an eye on her and if you can separate her from the rest of your fish as they will eat the babies.
