Hi,
I had my period Seot 7th.. it lasted about 4 days and was very light.. then all of a sudden I started to spot 2 days ago. It was different though, light brown and very liquidy.. not clumpy. I didn't think anything of it. Now I'm bleeding HEAVY (soaking up super plus kotex in an hour) with dizziness, HUGE blood clots, backache, and bad cramps.. I want to go to the ER, should I?

I just went to the ER for a piece of steel in my eye and they refused to treat me. They said it was not a real emergency and I could see my family doctor later in the day or go to the walk in clinic. I guess too many people don't pay their ER bill and that is what they are worried about. Do you have a walk in clinic close by? Your family doctor ought to have a number where he can be reached if you call his office number. But, seriously, some periods are alot worse than others. It is the curse of being a woman!

Definitely go talk to the ER. You even soaked up a super plus Kotex! You are seriously losing blood now. Go and talk to your ER as soon as possible.

Why not go to your own doctor? If your doctor is not available then go to the ER before you lose too much blood.

Call an ambulance. Don't drive. Your blood pressure could drop or you might go into shock. The paramedics will know how to treat you. Best to be safe hon.

You should attend the ER it could even be a possible miscarriage.Dizzeness and blood loss is no good so dont muck around at home just in case you could be hemoraging.

why don't you call your local (obsectric?) hospital or if in Australia, the nurse on call number. Either call will give you an answer as to whether you should get yourself looked at.
I hope you're feeling better soon

Yeah probably best to. Unless it's day time and your normal doctor happens to be free.
