Demoint is not an English word.

Maybe you mean:

dement -
1. To make (a person) insane.
2. To cause (a person) to lose intellectual capacity.

or

demount -
1. to remove from a mounting, setting, or place of support, as a gun.
2. to take apart; disassemble.

I don't get depoint of the question. Maybe you meant demount, demote, or demean?

Anyway, the only reference to that word I can find is an on-line journal written by Valerie Alessandra DeMoint.
