I would suggest that you should just keep quiet unless he brought up the subject(s) he had been talking about.

It could be embarrassing if you bring it up and he knew or claimed to know nothing about it.

After all it would have to be a pretty specific answer giving some very unique information about the answerer for you to be able to categorically rule out absolutely everyone else that could possibly answer the question and correctly pin it down to being him.

Depends whether his answer showed him in a good light or revealed something really embarrassing about him that he wouldn't want you to know!
