oh yes, there was this other couple that we used to hang out wiht, and they always had to purchase something a little better then we purchased, i got for mothers day a bagless vacumm and with in three months they went out and got the next step up model, i got a loan to get a nice vehicle, and then they went and got a loan for a not so nice vehicle, if i got a new shirt she would get a new outfit, if my husband got a new shop tool, her husband would buy two or something a little better, thaey always had to compete as to who had more stuff, and whos was better. it was very irritating, then one day i said something to them to the extent of why do you always have to one up us, and they said they didnt do it on purpose, well then my kids aunt moved in with us while they were waiting to move in to their new house, and then she announced that she was moving in her father in law, because they felt bad for him living on his own, i could have slapped her

My Sister, she always has to be in the limelight.
examples;
I got engaged..... She had Grandchild Number 1
I got married..... Grandchild Number 2
My husband & I bought a house..... Grandchild Number 3
We had Our first child... They bought a house.
We don't tell her when anything exciting happens in Our lives so that we don't have to listern to whatever she comes up with next.

Like you get a living roomset.

so they get a better living roomset.

or

Yes, I've known people like that, and also, the one's who are always sicker than anyone else. If I said I had a headache, then they would say they had a blinding migraine. etc.
