Big fish was good
for a 90 year old
but not in this generation
I really cant pick a best in the world, because technology and the type of movies change every day.
But
if i was to say what movie made the biggest affect on movie making, then
TRON
it was one of if not the first totaly computer generated movie.
Disney owns the movie but at the time handed it off to a sub company because they still believed hand drawing was the best way to make their movies.
Funny thing is that about 5 or so years ago they dropped the hand drawers for total computer animation.

Sorry, but that film would be very, very low on my list. I'm stunned that it's a Tim Burton film! It's nothing like his other work.

the term best movie is very subjective. but many critics agree that the greatest movie ever made is "citizen cane". it may not be the most entertaining movie out there, but it's probably the best movie to study when you're learning the language and grammar of film.
big fish is cool though. if you liked that you might like "life aquatic with steve zissou".
