I was wondering: what is the motivation of people who stalk you on the internet and abuse you?

Over at Yahoo! Japan Answers, there is at least one man( could be more than one) who keeps answering all my questions, and posts abusive comments. I keep blacklisting him to block his answers, but then he changes his ID (and he chooses ID names which make fun of me, for example, he might copy my ID name, or make his ID name something like "thiswomaniscrazy/stupid".

The kinds of things he would say include:

"Sex, sex, sex...is that all you think about, slut? Why don't you become a prostitute if you like sex so much!"

(And this is only in response to some questions regarding my ex-boyfriend...Yes, I did sleep with him once after breaking up...but given that my ex is the only sexual partner I've ever had, I don't think this makes me a slut and his comment is unwarranted...)

Also, he says:

"I feel sorry for your parents for having made a child like you"

Unfortunately, this stalking and

abuse started ever since I posted some photos of myself in one of my questions (I've now taken the photos down, as people cautioned me it could be dangerous)

One lady commented that these men were clearly stalkers, I should keep black listing them, and she even seemed to suggest they were in love with me....???

I was wondering: What is the psychology of people who do this?

Does this man/these men, hate me? Want me? What's going on?

Thank you, it makes me feel bad.

One more thing: His ID name is addressed to me, plus he only ever answers my questions, no one elses...

That sounds like something kids would do for fun, boys that have nothing better to do. If he knows he is getting to you that's what he wants remember to him it's funny. Stop yahoo for awhile and go over to my space for a month or two then come back with a different name. He must like the way you look so no more pictures. There are a lot of sicko's out there and you just happened to run into one of many.

Don't feel bad! He probably has something against women and HIS child isn't what the man thought he would turn out to be. So he's taking it out on you. Who cares? If anything you're helping the man with his anger issues. We wouldn't want him exploding at the office now would we? lol.

He's just messing with your head because he has nothing else to do. Posting pictures of yourself probably made you look like a sl*t. He's just making you feel bad because he knows that you'll react. Ignore him because he just gets off on your misery.

i once had an online stalker before.
at first, he said he liked me and asked me for my address and phone number.
i politely refused
then he started harassing me on the net.

not so sure why he did that to me cuz he didn't even know what i look like. ( i never provide my pic on the net)
prolly he has no life and has some mental disorder.
