The cost for Galaxies per month is about $15.75. If you pay for 3 months, the cost is about $44, and goes down more if you pay for 6 month or a year.
Galaxies is a good game, and I suggest you at least try the trial before deciding.
You can get a Station membership, which does allow you to play more than one game. I believe the cost for that is around $25 - $30 a month. You can play EQ, Matrix Online, SWG, and some others.

Personally, I like Star Wars Galaxies. The missions are intresting the powers and abilities are great. The fact I can have my own ship is great. You should really try the trial version first. My Star Wars Galaxies The Compllete Online Adventures is coming by mail. The feee is really worth it. I played city of heroes, but I am a huge star wars fan so i really wanted to play this game. Unfortunatly, the back order at the lucas arts site is long. I ordered mine september 4 and i am still waiting. If I weer you I would buy the game. It is really worth your time. The fee is 15.00

yes you do, but I recommend you don't. I am a huge star wars fan and I bought the game last month, only played it a few times, did not like it. I am an addict to World of Warcraft, and Galaxies really disappointed me. The only good thing with Galaxies is that if you like other MMORPG's, like everquest, I think that is the one, you can buy a membership to play like 5 games for the price of a little over one game, so it is a great deal.
