Western nations, in modern day, are socially and morally weak. They have been since the approximate time frame of the second World War and have only grown more degenerate and weak since. Thus, resulting in the repulsive cesspools of multiculturalism that you see. It exists because the West has voluntarily sacrificed their cultural heritage and identity for a new idea. An idealized "freedom" and a perverse idea of alleged "democracy". A parasitic idea that covertly consumes and destroys everything in it's path replacing it with rootless cosmopolitanism and pseudo intellectual ideologies that are based in weakness, depravity, hedonism, quasi-intellectualism and the eventual but absolute destruction of culture. All the while, propagating the idea of total "individualism", encouraging "individualism". Meanwhile, the underlying truth being that the ultimate mission of Western civilization's idea of multiculturalism is to destroy individualism THROUGH the destruction of culture and cultural identity. The goal is to dismantle all individualist traits from a person so that they can eventually be absorbed into one homogenous beast. This is primarily acheived through mass media propaganda (oops, not propaganda... I meant prime time major network programming, MTV, Hollywood, major magazine publications, etc...)

Countries like Singapore and Malaysia also operate a multicultural society, but since the West is generally more developed, people tend to immigrate there from less developed nations, thus creating multicultural environments. These immigrants have votes under the democratic system, and use their voting power to ensure that society as a whole is fair.
