I think some people like to be alone at times, but no ones heart or spirit wants to be alone. It's our hearts and spirit that reaches our to others.
We were never made to be alone, that's why it does hurt when we are.....we all have someone made for us, just seems harder the older we become.

Yes, I do..I can be in a room full of people but still feel alone. I actually went to a Makeup and Mocha party so you know that was a room full of women. That should have been alot of fun yet I found myself feeling excluded and alone. My husband and I don't communicate and need to go to counseling so you can imagine what that feels like. WOW who knew you were going to get this much info out of me. Have a star dear.

I really hate to go to places alone too that is really aweful talk about feeling alone.

Yes...just as you described.

Someone said " It is the paradox of human existence to seek to fill a need that can never be satisfied, to fill the vortex of loneliness in our lives" (to have someone truly understand who we are, and when we think about it [about self] deeply enough, it's a lonely place to be..so we move on, we mingle, we interact and we return to our feeling of solitude or loneliness)...

I hear you. It is the same for me. My life partner of 23 years died suddenly, 5 years ago and I have not been the same since. I feel devastated even after all this time and 4 years of therapy.

My fifteenth date grow to be with my (now) husband. could desire to confess that my advert grow to be extra classic :-) My expensive Mum grow to be horrified and grow to be confident i might hook up with an awl murderer... till I reminded her that I met my first husband at church and he ended up being a deviate and a thief!

Yes, I do..I can be in a room full of people but still feel alone. It seems like no one truly understands me, except a select few people.
