Like the guy who was sexually assaulting a 3 year old? OMG how could they do such a thing? Why are SO many disgusting perverts doing it now? It makes me sick to my stomach...Like what has triggered such this big increase in molestation of litle kids?

If I remember correctly, you are young. This is why you think there is an increase. The truth is that it is just being talked about more and is in the news. It has always gone on but was not talked about.
When I was a child, we were never taught that this might happen. We were never taught that it was OK to say no. We were never taught that there were good and bad touches. It just was not discussed at all. This was not because our parents did not care; they did not know about it either then.
There may actually be less happening now because so many of us are aware of it and do not put the children in our care in that situation. For example, I would NEVER let a male friend, co-worker, neighbor, etc. drive my 11 year old niece anywhere alone. Back when I was a child, no one thought anything of it. Now, many of us are so aware of it, that we do not let children get into that situation.
The video of that little 3 year old just makes me sick. The news says she is now 7 and is safe and happy with family members. I hope they check a little more carefully into that. Those people were in a bedroom. A little girl should not have been in a bedroom with that man. I wonder how carefully her family is taking care of her. The man obviously must have been known to them since the authorities now have the man's name.

In some cases it is found that it is treated as an OK act from one generation to the next.Grate grate grate grand parent did it and there offspring did it all the way down the line to the present parent or adult.It is just in the last 20 years,that thees story's are considered as credible and not a child's fantasy.

I'm not sure there really is significantly more child abuse now than there ever has been. I think we just hear about it more frequently because of (a) the ability to backtrack through internet transactions and catch these monsters, which is a newsworthy occasion, and (b) a willingness among the media to report on shocking and horrifying topics that didn't exist in mainstream society several decades ago.
