Everex???? Track record?

Hey everybody, I cant afford a sony vaio or dell xpsm1330 but i saw this EverexStepnote that was ultra portable 12.1 incher....Im just not sure how much i trust Everex. I mean I dont know how reliable they are and if the damn thing will break as soon as i get it. Does anyone know anything about Everex and their ultra portable notebooks?

Everex appears to be a spin-off brand of FIC. It is targeted at the low price market. Buy it only if there is good FIC distributor warranty support in your area.

Everex has a reputation for poor quality according to PC Magazine surveys on technical support.
