Jimmy Carter. He was a hard working man. Even though he was president he still grew his peanuts and made sure his crop was taken care of.

Gene, you make a great case for Abe,truly one of the greatest leaders in history.Dina, some of the changes will bring about our' downfall, but some have been good, too.Don't kid yourself into thinking America was Perfectland 50 or 100 years ago.
For these troubled times, lets go with FDR.Though perhaps our' most physically impared President,he held this thing together through the rough stuff, much like the great Lincoln, but for an even longer period. He went strait from the Great Depression to being Kamikazied into WW2,and we came out on top.Who else could have held it together so long?

Lincoln:
1) Tireless worker and smart enough to master whatever he needed to learn to keep the nation together.
2) Supreme mediator who was also a patient listener.
3) Willing to sacrifice and give his absolute attention and all his energy to achieve a worthy goal.
4) He did not lie by saying he knew God's will. He remained humble and prayed for guidance.
5) He understood the hearts of men and was able to comfort a nation.
6) His wisdom was so great that few people had the capacity to understand his greatness.
7) He bore no malice for his enemies. He was a true healer.
8) His personal bravery was never surpassed by another president.
9) Lincoln was the most adaptive president in our history.
10) Lincoln never sought personal fame or glory during his presidency and was our most loved leader ever.
When will God bless us with another leader like this one?
