I've heard that men always get bored with the same old girl and want some "strange." Also I heard that they can love you but not really be sexually attracted to you anymore, and if they got someone new, they'd be banging the hell out of her!

He used to have a strong sex drive. But over the past 6 months I have been pregnant and gaining weight and it seems we have been having relationship problems. And his sexual advances have become less and less. it's not that I'm all about sex, I could care less, but it makes me feel unattractive.

What could be going on?

We're not married everyone, just a couple.

And yes everyone, I'm definitely interested in a man's perspectives. Afterall, a man would know what another man is thinking, right?

If you are interested in a man's perspective -- my wife's pregnancy turned out to be a watershed in our sex life. Like many men, I had a hard time coping with the changes that took place with her body, and yes, I did find her less attractive sexually. After the child was born our life style evidently changed, and that also led to sex playing a lesser role than before. This is not to say that pregnancy has to be the end of your sex life (oh no), but as a women you do take on a different role in your husband's eyes.
So, please don't take your husband's lack of sexual appetite personally. It will come back.

Sexual attraction is psychological. Sex drive can definitely be affected by stress. Certainly the changes that are happening in your family could be affecting things. Yes, it is possible to love someone but not be sexually attracted; love is more than sex. Also, it is possible for a man to lose his sex drive. I recommend that you share your feelings with your husband. You might also find the help of a marriage counselor useful.

Your body is changing and that might not be a turn on to him. Wait until you have the baby and get rid of some of the weight, then he'll be crawling back. Also, make sure you know he's cheating before calling him out. He could just be looking at porn. If he is, ask yourself this "Do I really want a man who won't be faithful?" Hope that helps.

Sit down and talk to him about it. Are there other concerns, like financial concerns or fatherhood concerns now that the baby's coming? Is he worried he'll hurt the baby? Does he think of you more as a "mom" rather than his wife ? All kinds of possibilities.
