Define worse? As a Leader Lenin was lightyears ahead of Czar Nicholas. Lenin lead others followed, or else. Which is why Lenin rates low as a human being. Lenin was a lot like A Hitler' dogmatic, fond of his own voice, prone to talk for hours, determined to hammer people into accepting his point of view. But Lenin was a lot smarter than either Hitler or Czar Nicholas.

Czar Nicholas was kindly sort, a bit 'snooty' but capable of kindness & insight, no intellectual heavy weight but able to appreciate good music & art. By all accounts Nicholas was a loving husband and a terific father.

Lenin & Nicholas were equally 'bad' for Russia if one accepts the argument that the Bolshevik seizure of power was 'bad.' What gets lost in all the rhetoric about the Russian revolution is that somehow it was orchestrated by Leniin. Certainly his ideas influenced many of the Revolutionaries but the Revolution was a true uprising by the people only later was Lenin able to secure power for his party.

Again I must compare Lenin to Hitler. For all of his manic energies & reputation for being 'evil,' Lenin has Russia's best interests in mind and I find it hard to believe that had Lenin lived he would have bloodied Russia as severely as Stalin.

Czar Nicholas' family would certainly say that Lenin was worse. It's very likely that Lenin knew about or directed the slaughter of the Czar, his wife, and five children. Nicholas might not have been a "bad" person, but he was not the most astute politician and was NOT sensitive to the feelings of the people.
Lenin was a pragmatist - to get things done sometimes heads had to roll. Lenin was probably "worse" as far as directly sanctioning the deaths of people (though nowhere near as bad as Stalin would be), but Lenin was a smarter politician and arguably a better leader.
It depends what you mean by "worse".

That is difficult to answer. Poor Nicholas was a wretched unfortunate without self esteem. His father mistreated him, and called him names like "little girl".
Nicholas loved and respected his father in spite of that. He received the throne as something imposed, his duty, but was sure that he would be a failure no matter what.
He strived to keep things the same way because that's what he thought his father would have done, but that was a mistake.
His fault was to be incompetent as a ruler.
In that aspect, yes, Lenin was worse. He knew what he was doing

I ought to declare that I agree jointly with your element and discover it very exciting. Lenin knew that he had to reform a united states of america, he set up his new financial plan, which although criticized for being corresponding to capitalism, a minimum of he did no longer tension human beings into it and use such terror as different leaders.besides, he could no longer turn Russia communist in one day. Czar Nicholas and definitely his spouse believed that the had the ideal to rule over all the Russians and did no longer ought to take heed to them by using fact Nicholas grew to become into the chosen chief. a minimum of Lenin grew to become right into a frontrunner the human beings enjoyed and had to stay with. Why else did following leaders proceed the cult of Lenin to inspire human beings to stay with them. by using fact the Czar and his family contributors have been murdered brutally it form of feels to rub out their wrongs and because communism is hated by means of the West, it particularly is nice is rubbed out from historic past. I ought to declare, although i'm no communist, i could particularly have Lenin.

He most certainly was. Lenin was a mass murderer, which Nicholas, for all his failings, was not.
Most people with any brains left Russia after the Bolshevik takeover.
