It's fun for the first 5 minutes then it's like,
"Let's hurry this the f*ck up."

I do. Both my sister and my brother and i can keep the game going for days. And we often will trade/sell properties and houses if we're trying to get the monopoly on a particular suit so we can build. (I don't think that's in the rules, but we do it anyway. Like, I'll trade you the railroad for the electic company or I'll trade you OR sell you this property for the asking price plus $300 or 1 house et cetera).

Dude, I so always buy the Green block, the Yellow block, and the Orange block of properties, if i can, as they are landed on most frequently. (its a good stategy) as is owning those crap purple properties right after the "GO" space, even though the rent is super cheap. And i always snag up the Boardwalk as soon as i can. If ican't get that i go for Park Place. Otherwise, if my brother and/or sister get a hold of it, and buy the other one, i'm ruined lol... they seriously put up hotels on that puppy.

We once played so long we ran out of money in the bank, (and the money left over from an older game) so that we had to make more on scraps of paper. It lasted 8 consecutive days. (of couse we slept, this was during waking hours).
We don't necessarily play by the exact rules, lol, but our way is more fun. It allows you to aquire more property and possibly gain the monopoly. Although we never mortgage our properties and sell them back to the bank.

Oh and as a rule of thumb, if you're playing with a group and are in the hole financially, but have a bunch of properties.... and you end up going to jail.... don't pay the 50 bucks, and don't use your "Get out of Jail Free" Card if you have one. Stay in there a few turns, and wait till you roll doubles. That way, you can collect the rent when they land on your properties, and not put yourself further in debt. It works every time. lol. ♥

Monopoly is one of my favorite games! I just brought the new edition call ‘Monopoly Electronic Banking’.

Faster way of playing without counting the ‘cash’ anymore! No more missing money too! LoL

ha, the age old question... i think the best person to answer that question is dane cook. i don't know the name of the skit that he did, but it did concern monopoly and how everyone starts the game in a happy mood and then it turns into a raging nightmare by four in the morning.. it's quite funny, but as for me i enjoy a good competitive game of monopoly, but only every once in a while...

Monopoly is a great game to play, however, the game can become very time consuming.

I love Monopoly. I always win. I'm a real Tycoon. But I always have to play with the money bag token, otherwise, my luck fails.

it particularly is a huge question. each and every physique i understand is often lacking that "one piece" to win a miles better than nutrition prize. No of my friends or family contributors ever discover that one lacking piece in the past or after the interest ends. i'm questioning if some products are not even revealed to dodge persons from triumphing. i will save a watch in this question-- i could like to understand (additionally) if all and sundry has won some thing in this contest aside from loose McD's nutrition.

Yes, I do. I'm 38 years old and think it's a lot of fun. We do "family night" sometimes and that is one game all of us can play together. (Husband, me, and kids (17, 9, and 3. Three year old rolls the dice for me.)
