Easier than what other group or religion?The only thing manipulated would be the individual and that is due to trechery from someone who wishs to destroy the faith of a believer. God tells us "Woe to you who would cause one of these little ones to stumble!" And I'm sure he was speaking of adults as well as children, anyone comeing to Him with the pure faith of a child.

The lack of objective thinking and the willingness to accept whatever a "good" christian tells them.

It can be interpreted literally and figuratively. People can twist words to make them fit their ideals and what they think is "right."
