I just want to know why we went from seeing legends like , Dr. Dre, Snoop, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Twista, KRS and people like that on top of the music business , people with a real back ground they can back up to these wacky so called rappers who snap their fingers, lean with it, two step and all that crap to over take the rap game, ....I mean , remember back in the day with bone thugs and their songs like The Crossroads, First of the month, then tupac with changes, all eyes on me, Lil Troy with Want to be a baller. How can you compare their back grounds, for example bone came up rough, and made it because of eazy e, tupac and biggie with real experienced rap , they can talk it and walk it, what does a person have to do to get platinum make a jump rope song ha ha which really is a song, I mean what's next a shopping cart song, I just think the rap game is polluted and we need to see that real rap again

People do not care anymore about what rap stood for... which was telling the a some sort of story with a deeper message. Now it is all about the money, chains, etc. There is still some really good undergound music such as La Costa Nostra, MF Doom, Jedi Mind Tricks... That is what I call Rap

You picked some unfavourable alternatives to characterize "real rap." i do no longer know how a strategies your expertise of rap is going, yet by skill of those 2 you chosen, it type of feels it would not bypass very a strategies. Eminem isn't "real rap." Eminem's area of the pop rap, to cater to white audiences who grew up greater on rock and dad rap. The Ice cube music is one from a strategies previous his top. to discover the "real" rap, you may desire to bypass back to a minimum of the 80s, or, at present, seem to the underground scene.

Yeah, you toatly right all legends are not paid attention to anymore, and Bone is the only rappers I listen to, I thuoght that rap was about talking about the real stuff that goes on in life, now they are making it seem like rap aint nonthing but dance music. And that doesnt consult with rap to me. To me rap should be about the real stuff that goes on in life like trying to make it out of the hood and ghetto and stuff and how to get your mind right, I dont listen to know rappers but the old ones and my fav, music is rock and people make fun of me because of that, if rap would have never changed maybe i'll still be listen to it. The lyrics dont make since now days, too the people that listen to it, they only care how the beat sounds, and im just not like that, im a real person and I want to listen to real music.

wanna be a balla, shot colla, 20-inch blade, only empalla, halla get laid tonight...hit the highway, makin money tha fly way, well theres got to be a betta way, a betta way yea....love that song :p
i like eminem because he raps about his past and all the crap in his life and raps about how he gets through it all...that's actually got a message. not the crap that goes "ay bay bay" 20 times in a row. i hate that song and it should be illegal to be played publicly. it's not even a song really. now it's all about ho's and niqqas, not real stuff. but to each his own i suppose.

I think its just because record company's say the potential (aka money) in rep and just started exploiting it. It's too commercial. It seem like now enybody with gold teeth and a ridiculous song with a snap in it can come out with some garbage and go number one.
