Do it as soon as you must.

Personally, I write things on a calendar. I have a monthly calendar, not a daily calendar. I gave up on a daily calendar years ago...it filled up too fast! If I jotted down just a word or two for what I had to do each day, I would tend to remember. I also color coded what I had to do, i.e., a doctor's appointment would be in red; ordering meds would be in blue; picking up something or someone would be in green; etc. Checking your calendar each day would become a "daily" habit. Put the calendar by your front door (or where ever you had to exit your house or apartment). Anything to get you to use something as a reminder would get you into the habit of checking your checklist, whether it's a calendar, a to do list, a dry erase board, etc. It's all in the "doing" and "remembering", thus, not to "forget things."

I usually note the things I have to do in my cellphone calendar. The only down side is, if I ever forget or lose my phone, I'd be doomed for that day...

Use your hand phone to pen in reminders. Most people check their phones for messages etc. often so I think that is the best way to remember things.

Maybe you can try writing them down in big letters and post it at your room's door or anywhere where you could see it all the time.

write it down and put it where you can see it, or a reminder from a cellphone, or (this really works) write it in your forehead so the next time you see yourself in a mirror you'll remember :D

I can't concentrate on answering your question. There's this string tying both index fingers of my hands together. Whatever could they be for?
