I have answered this question so many times, I decided to dedicate a web site to answer this question. Here it is:

Included is a list of only the best sorcery fantasy books, grade reading level, a short review of each book along with a brief summary of adult content. There is also a "Reader's Choice" list of favorite books, and a list of heroine sorcery fantasy books.

I hope this helps.

You didn't really mention ur age so, yeah! If you're young, the books by Daisy Meadows. It's a hit amongst the youngsters. The Fairy Realm books are good too, for youngsters. The Stardust is another good one 4 youngsters. And if you're looking for another novel after Harry Potter, the Warriors would be a good one. It's 4 older kids. And if ur interested in Ghost stuff, the Midnight Library. Annie Dalton's "Mel Beeby Agent Angel" books are a good read too! 1 of my favorite novels. The Little Blue House by Sandra Comino is not that bad either! And these are only SOME of the magical books I know. There are lots more. Well, have fun!

Kushiel's Dart
(The first book in the Kushiel series)
(2001)
A novel by

Jacqueline Carey

A massive fantasy tale about the violent death of an old age and the birth of a new one. Here is a novel of grandeur, luxuriance, sacrifice, betrayal, and deeply laid conspiracies. Born with a scarlet mote in her left eye, Phedre no Delaunay is sold into indentured servitude as a child. When her bond is purchased by an enigmatic nobleman, she is trained in history, theology, politics, foreign languages, and the arts of pleasure. Above all, she learns the ability to observe, remember, and analyze. Exquisite courtesan, yet talented spy, she may seem an unlikely heroine... but when Phedre stumbles upon a plot threatening her homeland, Terre d'Ange, she has no choice but to act. Betrayed into captivity in the barbarous northland of Skaldia, and accompanied only by disdainful young warrior-priest, Phedre makes a harrowing escape and an even more harrowing journey, to return to her people and deliver them a warning of the impending invasion. And that proves only the first step in a quest that will take her to the edge of despair and beyond.

I just finished a books called Fablehaven which I really enjoyed. Also a couple of other good books are: The Last Apprentice bks 1 and 2, and Ranger's Apprentice are good books. If you like horror I'm currently reading The Mist by the master himself Stephen King which is REALLY good. I'm not sure of your age but if you like Sci/Fi then any! book by John Ringo is good. I could go on I've read 175 books in the last year to date (and I'm in college). I love to go to a bookstore and go up and down the isle and look at every thing I always find good books that way and not so good ones. That's just part of it. Good luck in your search!!!

Do you like manga? Trinity Blood is awesome. It's about vampires.

If you don't you can try The Naming and The Riddle by Allison Croggon. Those are only the first two books. It's suppose to be a quartet.
