Can somebody who supports this woman please tell me why?

I can't find anything to like about her. I mean am I missing something here?

Every time I see her face or here her loud mouth opinions I seriously have to fight off the urge to piss in my own mouth and drown myself.

What makes her the "by far most qualified candidate"? Her one and a half terms in the senate, or her experience as a first wife and a short time policy leader on a failed health care plan.

Just curious..

Also, what issues does she have you sold on?

I'm sorry but I still think that in a country of 300 million we should be able to find better than some pant suit wearing wife of a former philandering president.

I mean cmon, get over the whole "wow she's a woman" crap and let's find us a real leader. Our role on this planet is too important for her to lead us.

FYI: I'm not a neocon, I'm a Reagan republican. In case you weren't born yet when he was president, he was what you might refer to as a real leader. Not a poll watcher like the Clinton's that blow every way the wind goes.

I mean how many different positions does she have on the Iraq war? I'm sure her position will change right about the time the primaries end.

Say what you want about Bush, I have my own complaints as well, but at least he's consistent and honest in his opinions on matters. Hillary's a robot who runs focus groups on what to say in public just like slick Willie her husband.

Bush has done such a thorough job of screwing up the country that the Republicans should just sit this next election out. Any Democrat will beat any Republican in 08. No, this is not a good thing but it's one more result of our stupidity in electing Bush twice. I am so disgusted with George Bush. I am most sickened by the fact that he took my vote and shoved it up my assumption that he was smart enough to be president.

Jeebus Krist, I read all the responses to this question and there isn't a real Hillary supporter among them. By that I mean, you know some poor intern who has the job of searching websites like this to put out some Hillary propaganda. Seems like only basic Hillary supporters responded.
Look, I'm from New York, and she's my senator. Now I'm paying her to run for president while New York State remains the highest taxed state in the nation. Nothing's changed here. Somebody, anybody got a could reason to vote for her?

Let me preface my remarks by saying that I am not a Dem or a Rep, and given my druthers, I think I would support Barak Obama among the choices of Democrats. That said, let me try to say something substantive about Hillary Clinton, even though I don't really support her.

First of all, like it or not, she's a heavy hitter. She understands the issues, she understands policy, she understands process. I have seen her give extremely calculated comments, but practically everything she says is serious and shows a fair amount of thought behind them. Unlike the current Chief Executive, she understands what she believes and why she believes in them.

Second, she is intelligent. I don't think she is as smart as her husband and she certainly doesn't have her speaking skills. But she DOES think and she uses her mind fairly effectively.

Third, despite what her critics throw at her, she is not a socialist nor even that liberal. Yes, she is left of center, but her opinions and her actions in the Senate shows that she is a moderate. On certain issues, like health care, she may differ from many, but we have to recognize that in many countries where national health care exists, this is not an issue even among conservatives.

I think your adversion to Clinton has more to do to the fact that she is calculating, not warm and fuzzy, utterly lacking in empathy and of course Bill Clinton's wife. That is undoubtedly true. But if that is the case, then you would have to damn a large number of candidates for President from both parties for precisely the same failings.

Except for the being married to Bill Clinton part. As far as I know, our former President hasn't slept with any other candidates seeking the nomination of their party next year.

Cheers.

I agree. What is her plan.....for anything relevant?

Please do tell me what her most impressive bill was, either sponsored or co-sponsored?

Why does her political view include taking money away from one group and giving it to another?

Her real agenda hasn't really been seen. Did you see the subterfuse by laughing on 5 Sunday morning new programs two weeks ago?

Is that the response? When asked a question you do not like or it makes you very pissed you just start laughing rather than change the subject......

She sucks, Bill sucks, too. He's a convicted felon and a liar. Is that when Americans want for a leader?

Yikes! The USA's wheels just fell off.......

Sorry, there is absolutely nothing to recommend her.
She has zero executive or managerial experience
(except maybe the mass firings in the White House Travel Office,
or her involvement in the Whitewater land deals, and maybe also
her involvement in the Vince Foster affair/murder).

Serving in the US Senate is NOT a qualification for President!
Senators have no track record on which to to judge how well they will handle tasks and manage things. Casting a vote, along with 99 others, is no basis on which to judge how they will perform.
(The last time Senators became President was in the 1960s, and they all did a miserable job!)

Unfortunately, the leading Democrat candidates are ALL Senators,
and most of them are lawyers -- with no executive experience, either. (Obama, Clinton, Biden, Edwards, Dodd)
The only one with any experience or accomplishments (other than voting on bills), is Governor Bill Richardson (NM), but he's not really running for President. (He's hoping to get picked as VP, by whichever inexperienced Senator wins the February 5th primaries.)

The Republicans are almost as bad:
Romney, Huckabee, and Giuliani are the only ones with any executive experience (unless you consider McCain's tenure as senior officer in a POW camp).
The rest are current or former legislators (McCain & Brownback in the Senate; Hunter, Paul, Tancredo, and Gingrich in the House.)

If the 2 big party bosses succeed in locking things up on Feb.5th (nearly a year before the inauguration!!!), I think there will be a public backlash, which just might launch a 3rd-party movement.
(1/3 of the electorate is enrolled as "none of the above". Nearly 50% of eligible voters don't bother to show up when the choices are limited to TweedleDum and TweedleDumber! A meaningful alternative just might bring them out to the polls.)

Aside from the 1960s, the last time a former Senator became President (not counting Truman, who was VP when Roosevelt died), his administration was an unmitigated disaster (and he is believed to have committed suicide after 3 years, altho the official story is that he died of pneumonia).

I truly fear that our nation cannot withstand the harmful effects of another Senator actually becoming President! Nevertheless, those who remain ignorant of history (as Santayana said) “are doomed to repeat it”.

Sorry I can't help you. Did you see what Bill Clinton did today? He said that Obama doesn't have enough experience. He had more than Obama when he ran for President. (Wow! How about his wife? Does she have any experience? NOOOO.)
