For the most part, if the condoms have been treated properly

The only form of birth control that is 100% effective is abstinence. If you are going to have intercourse, though, the condom is a good choice. It offers both protection at a relatively high rate from pregnancy, as well as from STD's. Condoms are only effective if used properly (read the package insert if you're not sure how to use them) and if they have been well taken care of (if exposed to heat or cold [like if they were in a wallet, glove box, even in a purse] they are less effective as they are more prone to breaking). Hope this helps.

Yes, if sized properly, used with water based lube, and worn correctly (rolled down all the way to the base firmly) Use a brand name, not made in a foreign country. Trojans are the best for just straightforward consistency.

Condoms are trustworthy if you use them right.

Not if your trying to get pregnant.........

But seriously, they are pretty safe and if you're on the pill, it will make it all the safer.

There's no such thing as 100% safe sex, but Condom atleast make it 90-95% .. so long as they're not old and still sealed

They're better than nothing at all!!!! And use a spermicide too! That's a little added protection. The only thing 100% is abstinence.

yeah, just make sure if you're having sex that you're the one who buys/brings them, if you're really paranoid. also, you can buy the ones with spermicide, but don't use them for anal or oral, and you can't have sex more than once a day with those condoms. it's usually not the condom, but how you use it and how much you know about how to use it

98-99%. There's still 1-2% uncertainty there.

Yes, but only if they're put on correctly and are not expired. Of course, nothing is 100% except abstinence.
