I work at Pike Place Market. The tourists love the Space Needle (view and a restraunt), the Underground Tour (go underneath Seattle), Pike Place Market (shopping, food, and the famous fish throwers), the first Starbucks (in Pike Place Market), Argosy Boat Tours, Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe (lots of weird things), Pirate's Plunder (lots of well...pirate stuff) , Experiance Music Project (and I think the Sci-Fi museum is still there), Seattle Center (a few lame rides), and for some unknown reason the Ride the Ducks Tour. Just don't go to Bainbridge Island-I live there and it's even more dull than Seattle!

There's a lot of things to do for a newcomer that I think are fun (well, for a newcomer more than a regular Seattlite).
If you really love Mexican food (hence your name), there's a couple good places to check out... I love Gordito's over in Greenwood. It's right on 85th and Greenwood and they've got great food at fabulous prices! It's cheap Mexican the way it should be (as opposed to the cheap fast-food version)! Busy like crazy during the work week during lunch time. Agua Verde is over in the U-District near UW on Boat Street all the way at the bottom of the hill on Brooklyn. It's got some great fish tacos with a variety of different fish and the food in general is good!
Unfortuntately, at 19 you can't get into the clubs around here, but if you happen to have your passport, you can head up to Vancouver, BC, where the age-limit is 19 and get into all of the clubs up there! The scene up there is really cool and I actually prefer going out up there, when I get the chance!
Hit up some of the familiar tourist traps such as the Seattle Center (offering the Space Needle which is a must-see, the EMP which isn't, and potentially some festivals [I believe it was the Italian Festival last weekend, although it might have been 2 weeks ago]) and Pike Place Market.
If you're not really here for the "touristy" types of things, there's Gameworks on 7th and Pike downtown with a movie theater right next door. There's Westlake Mall and Pacific Place for shopping on 5th and 7th (& Pine), with Nordstrom in between and Macy's a block up from Westlake. Westlake Mall is also connected to the Seattle Center by the Monorail, if you're happening to want to do both in the same day.
If you have more specific types of ideas of what you're looking for, say those and I can probably think up some things.

They don't commit suicide due to boredom. Lack of sun in the winter will drive many people crazy. Here are some ideas:
San Juan Islands, Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rain Forest, Mt Saint Helens, Green Lake, Discovery Park, University district, Boeing Field Tour, Pike Place Market, Take a ferry to Victoria or anywhere
Seattle has a beautiful nature and if you are not into hiking and nature you are in the wrong place.

Sorry - Seattle sucks - unless you like to drink coffee, stand in the rain, or "hang" in half price books ..
