The other people who gave answers are right... the universe does not have an edge.

I will spare you the explanation about the balloon that gets blown up... you must have seen it a gazillion times, maybe more often that there are galaxies in the visible universe.

What I want to say, though, is that you are not alone. It is very hard to imagine something that one can't see and that just plops put of mathematical equations which are almost impossible to make sense off, even for those who try.

But it occurred to me that we have been in this place before. Do you remember seeing those paintings from the middle ages where people imagined the earth was flat? So they painted a giant ocean surrounding the continents and the ocean ended at the rim of the earth and the waters were full of dragons and the ships which ventured there were falling down into hell?

And then came Columbus and Magellan and they discovered the new world and circumnavigated the globe and after a century or two almost everyone had learned to accept that the earth was round and that there were no dragons anywhere.

I believe it is the same with the universe. As we progress to map and virtually circumnavigate the universe with our telescopes, people will begin to get a feeling for what it is that they are seeing and the idea of the edge of the universe will fade away just the same way as the edge of the flat world was forgotten except in old paintings.

the universe is a finite entity with a maximum and minimum size.
It can't exist beyond either one of these limits.
Most of the galaxies you see at extreme distances do not exist to-day.
The edge of the universe is a cosmic interface that delineates the leading edge of space.

Actually saying the universe has no edge is ignorant. It is unknown what is beyond the "edge" of the estimated size of the universe.

there can be two possible answers
1.) as the universe is so big it is really difficult to find what is its very edge
2.) as every thing is round in space universe could also be a sphere without edge
1.) is more proper
