please tell me what you think. does he likes me or not?

Question

Ok, this guy and I have been talking for a while(3 yrs) but I just started having feelings for him. I really like him and I really don't know what to think of him. He likes to make me feel bad at times, he calls me names, but he says its how he plays, how he jokes. So, sometimes I am ok with it besides i call him names too at times. Sometimes he makes me cry, but he tells me not to cry because he was just playing. He says I don't know why he do what he does.. when i ask him for an explanation to his behaviour of being so mean to me and making me jealous.
He likes to make me jealous all the time. He gives me great advice, he is always there for me. he always talks to me for hours, but I don't know. He confuses me.
I feel like he likes me, but he doesn't at the same time. He tell me some of his plans or what he is planning to do (he just graduated from highschool), and life experiences. I ask him if he doesnt likes me and he says he wouldnt talk to me if he didnt. But I am not a guy to know for sure if he does or not.
I was saying that I am not a guy hence i am a girl, so I don't understand what he is trying to say or why he is acting this way with me all the time.
see sometimes i ask him if he is just playing/using me and he says why would he do that to me? what would be the purpose in it? and he sometimes gets deffensive because i keep on asking that. He also gives me explanations to where he was or what he was doing without me asking or sometimes I do ask. He also asks me what i do and who i was hanging out with (my best guy friends). But then, everything is fine and he starts being so mean. I have told him I don't like that but he says that is who he is, but he never calls me names when he gets angry at me. It is just when we are talking.

hummm, Not sure if you should even try to hook up with a guy like that. He does sound like he likes you. But he sounds very young for a 18 year old, He could be 19? He sound very immature for his age.
You could be setting yourself up for a bad relationship if you try to date this guy.
