While telling each other "I love you" this morning, my wife looked so adorable I simply had to blurt out-HEY! I have a great idea for Yahoo answers!, she said what? and I said, How about this question (stated above). She thought it was cool so here I am asking you, yes, you this very question. By the way, our answer is - a lot. So you can't use my answer either.

Kate- I agree to some extent that actions also are necessary, but I still feel hearing the words I love you form someone you care about is also important.

Also- we have this "thing" we do- we tap 3 times on a shoulder or on a hand, because Kumara learned that in the dark, that is how deaf people say I love you, it represents the three fingers used in sign language for I love you. It is so nice when she comes up and taps me on the should like that. We now even squeeze hands 3 times when we are holding them, our little secret, lol.

My boyfriend and I are surviving the long-distance relationship thing, so we try and check in as much as possible. Mostly we'll just drop the line on facebook, or use the x-me to snuggle one another. When we do get to talk, it's dropped at least every five minutes lol We'll just be talking and one of us will drop it, little sprinkles of love all over it all :) Corny, but what can I say? I'm in love.

My husband is in the military, so in the beggining of our marriage we were apart for about six months and there is always teh threat of him going away and never coming back, so at least 20 times.

Hello Marty
I am so excited to respond to this question. I just started dating a wonderful man a few weeks ago. I don't think I am ready to say "I love you", but it may happen. Thank you for putting a huge smile on my face.

I do so all day, every day! But it's not just the words that count; actions speak louder than words. Both are important though.

I'm as Kate.......I have no idea when was the last time I said it.
That is explicit in our everydays actions. I think I say it oftener to my sons.
I know that you'lll be thinking that it is necessary.......but i dont feel it.

That is so cute... :-)
Actually, we don't tell each other "I love you"...I remember the last time we said it, it was like 15 years ago and we weren't even married...but we do say "I love you" in our actions and how we treat each other. I dunno if that counts Marty...what do you think?

EDIT
again Marty....you and Kumara are so cute...lol
