i think i'm going to be a song writer, but idk cuz i also want to be a novelist. Or a poet, which one is better. I think i'm a better poet and song writer but i do have trouble finding a topic to write about, i'm really good at writing novels but i suck at finishing stuff. I've completed 45 poems and songs, and 0 books i've half finished but nothing more. So...which one is kooler? and which should i do oh and if you choose songwriter please tell me what to write about..like love or happiness or death murder whatever and if books or playwright or poetry plz tell me what to write about

You haven't mentioned making a living, so if you don't mind, I will. Poets do not make much money at all. Please trust me on this. Lyricists can do well, if they are talented, lucky and market their work to advantage. Being good at writing novels doesn't guarantee getting published. Breaking into the book market is difficult, no matter how fine a writer one is. Considering your choices, I'd go with song lyrics. As for what you should write about, only you can decide that. Lyricists seem to do best writing about relationships, i.e., love, disappointment, even hate. Give it a try ... I wish you the very best.

I say write how / what ever comes to you naturally. As for what to write about, that's up to you, you're the one writing it. No one can 'tell' you what to write about. Suggestions are always good, but never allow yourself to be 'told' what to write about. You are your own person, do not let others make up your mind for you.

Yur poems can be songs. Probably touch more/ affect more people through music.
