No, pickup lines never work.

The only time I used a pickup line on the woman who is now my wife is when we were already dating for a fair share of time. We were at a party and I had a few to many. I don't remember what I said but I do remember her laughing at me and sending me home in a cab shortly after.

I only use them in humor on women that I've known a long time or if I think they will understand that I'm not being serious. When it comes to jokes or humor I don't remember any lines, I am pretty good at designing them on the spot. I honestly can't think of one at this moment.

No. I don't know any that wouldn't get me either slapped, or shot down right away. I just start a normal conversation, being natural is always the best bet anyways.
